Thx. If I remember it correctly I just had a White solid, masked it to a circle, feathered the edges and put a wiggle expression to it. I could be wrong since it has a long time ago I did that video :/

Did you edit the whole music video in after effects or did you animate sections throughout the AE timeline and exported each section then put it together in Premier pro??? Ive been wanting to do something like this but haven't found any tutorials

Good question. I animated the camera movement throughout the AE timeline and exported the whole thing as one section. Then I did the same with all closeup-shots of each member. Then in Premiere I could cut between the band sequences and the closeup sequences. I recommend you to export all AE animations from beginning to end of the song. It takes more rendering time then separate sections, but you'll have more freedom and order when it comes to the editing.

@@CapVFX You said in the video that you exported the Alpha channel of each band member to speed up rendering times. How did you do that? I exported the files but the export is bigger than the actual footage. I have a pretty fast computer but im having trouble with rendering. What advice can you give me to speed up rendering. Im so frustrated with this. I filmed the band guys and keyed them out but rendering is taking for ever. I filmed the band guys in 4k but then down-scaled it to 1080p but now im considering down-scaling it to 720p but i dont want to do that. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

@@ivanvargas5295 I used the great and powerful XVD codec (Download: resolume.com/software/codec). It compresses the file format a bit, but you you dont end up with 123 GB large files. Once you installed it you can render the footage with RGB and Alpha channels. I hope that solves you problem mate ;)

I really appreciate all your information thank you so much. I have another question. I saw the full music video you did and I loved it so much. I noticed that on the video there was a huge monitor that was glowing behind the band guys. My question is how did you make that background screen glow the way you did. Is that with a glow effect in E3D?? I loved how you did that. Maybe you can do a tutorial on how you did that.

@@ivanvargas5295 Thx mate! I used some of the glow effect in Element 3D but to get the volumetric light I used a adjustment layer with some a radial fast blur with the center connected to a 3D null.
