Wow, incredible results! Would love to see some step by step tutorials on how some of those shots in the end demo reel were achieved. I've been a 2d artist most of my life but prior to discovering blender about two years ago I had never done any 3d CGI. Until recently I hadn't put all that much time into learning the process and my Blender progress was very slow at first, but I've been learning how to improve render times in various ways and better tutorials are becoming more available on a wider variety of the many facets of blender which is making it all much more fun for me as an amateur user. Also I love coffee, and eevee…. and shrimp. :D

@nuloom
@nuloom 4 жыл бұрын
John Doe you can do a lot but in certain software you have more control over certain things. In Blender you’ll have granular control over a lot of things but same goes for all other 3D software. You can do everything you might need to do in one program sometimes, but other times other software has much more suitable tools for doing whatever you’re doing and in the end all that matters is speed at which you can do things. Time is money and here you can trade time for money and money for time.

Impressive. The problem in blender is you need to be programming and it genius to make stuff like this. It should be easily accessible for people who just want to create. Tons of advanced tricks and hacks and custom builds impossible for standard user. At the end probably no one even hire you with blender. I really like it but...i am not sure if it is worth learning if you can do things better and easier in other software. If I was younger maybe it would be worth it
