Great step by step with explanation. I'll have to relook at Motion library of objects and determine if Apple has invested enough in resources because costs could explode for production if you had to buy many objects.

I’d love to see you get into how to actually “light” the drone. It is very clear that this is a 3D almost cartoonish model (which I know you weren’t really trying to fool anyone into thinking it was real). However, implementing lighting would make a huge difference. Can you do a similar video getting into how to create a 3D object within the video casting shadows and being affected by the environmental light (like the sun in the image here)?

Hi, I love your helpful tutorials. I’ve been trying to get some text to rotate around the 3D model of the earth that this software has in its library. I want the text to spin around the earth like it’s on a satellite path, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to go BEHIND the globe. It just revolves in front. I’m sure I’m just being dumb, but do you have any tutorial that may be able to help. Before I go crazy :L

How come when I add 3d items from the motion library you can’t see it? I tried resizing and repositioning it…. ? I’m using 360 video…. I did it before but now? Any item, from the library, not even a new imported item

Hi. Why when I rotate an object in 3d does the image repeat itself behind the object? (following a visual hierarchy of layers and not the position of objects in 3d space)

Just curious in this example, the materials used in the drone model seem to be very basic, almost boring. Can the materials be changed within motion to look more realistic or are you basically stuck with what the original 3d model creator chose?
