3D Printable Gaming Gadgets!

3D printers are amazing - I’ve had one for years and it’s helped me prototype and build the open source response time tool and the open source latency tool, I’ve designed and built a plumbing fitting to fix my washing machine sucking back dirty water, and I designed a tool to let me tighten my G933 racing wheel to my desk because the plastic knobs they’ve included are useless. This time though I thought I’d turn my eye to gaming gadgets - it turns out there are a load of cool and down right useful things you can print to make your gaming experience better. I’ve printed a few here, but mostly thanks to my Elegoo Mars having a fairly small print volume, I have even more suggestions you might fancy printing.

Thingverse has loads of computer related file. Parts and adapters for cases, fans and fan shrouds, HDD/SSD caddy's, and even adapters and holders for VR headsets. For instance, I have the Pimax 5K+, and I printed adapters so I could use the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap with it, making the unit much more comfortable and functional. i printed a Logitech G pro wilreless mouse Ultra light conversion kit. for my Logitech G305. added some grip tape and even with the tape its still lighter than the orginal G pro.

I don’t have a 3D printer, but I’ve been considering getting one in the future as prices of the 3D printers and respective filaments have been dropping over the past few years to a more affordable price point 🥳🥳👍😇. I personally would be looking at pc peripheral attachments like headphone stands etc for my use case 🥰👍💪. Maybe some print8ng of a homemade chess set too 🤫😉
