Great insights into this how the Gplank design by Skyglide flies and stands up to some LOS abuse. Good destructive testing feedback. The patchiness seems to be related to airspeed. OSD view was smoother when flying LOS at 60-70 kph, and on approach of last FPV landing. Above 85-90 kph, the wobbles are much worse. Being 3d printed, the design could be easily tweaked to improve the launch grip (7:09) with finger ripples to the fuselage print; an optional grip piece or grip tape could be added later.

I was also wondering about strenghtening, at first, but in the end it's not worth it I think. I was even thinking a thin layer of polyester resin or something like that, but the plane is strong enough, if careful and not landing on rocks. Not sure about a vinyl wrap, not many things can stick on PLA

On the contrary, 0% infill, its mostly single walls, so 0.4mm thick, very thin. As sample the fuselage is two single walls separated by about 6mm

@@matejbludsky8410 Yes, eSun PLA+, it's printed very hot, between 220 and 230°, makes it quite durable (for a PLA)

@@sightline4004 no, the best material is PLA+ for this plane. LW has better weight but terrible durability

I did more flight with the RC Thumb Pro, it's an excellent camera in my opinion, for a decent price. The plane will be tuned, not worried about that, it's a great flier
