Dude you are great at this I know you went through the mistakes and made successful molds kudos to you I just woke up one day and decided I wanted to CNC my molds using the HDPE plastic to learn before I decide to upgrade to aluminum but watching your videos I might have to dig out my 3D printer 😂 I just have to reeducate myself on fusion 360 But overall cause I’m ranting 😂 your doing a great job also I just came across your channel I’m subscribing definitely and taking plenty notes THANK YOU 🙏🏾

Thanks man! For the design, prototype and test phase nothing beat resin 3d prints in my book. Production, aluminum still rules but you can do low volume production with the resin molds.

This is pretty useful. Earlier tonight I was researching how to adjust the z stop on my FDM printer aaaaand 4 hours later I've done a deep dive into DIY injection molding. Saw the video about a ~$200 injection molding build and found the formlabs whitepaper on SLA printing injection molds. I know SLA printers are relatively cheap these days so I'm thinking $500-$800 all-in and I can be making some good quality parts. Making niche/small scale parts this way seems like a good side hustle.

Glad it helped. I personally don't think the Form 1 is worth the $ but yes I think you budget is pretty spot on, will really depend on what size parts you want to produce. You can get a good quality resin printer between roughly $180 and $1000 with the biggest price factor being size by and large. Feel free to reach out if you have an specific questions.

I finally finished my first model, it's ready for printing tomorrow, I still have air holes left, I think you made a mistake with the holes, otherwise I'm a butcher by profession and I've made a lot of sausages, the process is similar, silicone is poured instead of meat, and in air appears in the sausages and it is solved in a simple way, where the meat enters, hit the very opening with a knife to make a small hole and thus the air comes out at the very beginning, you never pierce the sausages either at the end or in the middle, imagine that is a fish sausage, in my opinion the holes should be at the very entrance where the silicone enters, because the air comes from the injector, that's at least my idea that I will apply. Is there any possible way you would give me some guidance on the settings new to 3d printing altogether i had some successful prints with sirayatech fast but after switching to the sculpt im not knowledgeable enough to know which test and how to adjust settings add my chitubox updating to 1.9 and doing a firmware update im lost I do have a heater in enclosed area with the printer at about 83f seemed to print my test print but not so great this 1.9 update the settings are confusing to me now any guidance is much appreciated

Are you cleaning Sculpt with acetone or denatured alcohol these days? I need to run by the hardware store, and wanted to know what’d be the best thing to pick up for cleaning the resin prints. Thanks!

I am using denatured these days, iso is fine as well if it is about 90%

I have the paid version but nothing I do in these videos uses any features that are in the paid version.
