@@ohnoadventures left early to go river tubing. 59 years old and it was my first time going. What a blast!👍😁

Try venting them....drill holes between the paddles so the sand doesn't collect inside the back of the wheel.

I had a Typhon Grom motor lockup like that one time, and I’ve had it happen probably half a dozen times to my new Mojave Grom motor as well.

A race on the oval where everyone is on the same slippery 3d printed wheels and you have to slowly drift the corners, that sounds fun

Wicked idea and execution.

You might be able to cut a bike innertube and stretch it over the rim for speed runs. Great video. It's nice to see new innovation. 👍🏆

Man exo just built me up a hilow capra axle 6x6 and man you need one of these builds!! You will probably need to make new lines for it I know I had to.

Well that's cool. I think it would be an awesome video watching you test 3D printed tire designs. Watching you develop the crawler inserts was awesome (and in my opinion a popular success). I can see a small series on testing "in house" designs doing well with your viewers.

Your definitely onto something. I'd like to see you further this design! I'd buy 2 sets when "your" happy with them. With the understanding they may break first run. No guarantees 😂

That was awesome man. They last longer then I thought aswel. Good video man ❤

Was hoping he’d say ‘these held up a lot longer than I expected’ after doing the bench test 😂 thanks for a great ‘little’ video

I recently printed and tested paddles for my slash 4x4 that's running 4s. PETG rims with tpu paddles. Lasted the full weekend at the beach, ran probably 15 or 20 packs with no issues

It was going to happen eventually lol. Now you can experiment with bulbous pillowy tires and different tread designs.

Im thinking the rib u have designed is for steering & turning the ŵhole car . So with the outside of the wheel get another rib & make the paddles a hair deaper .

Hey if you overtighten the wheels it can cause it to do exactly what your car was doing, it will act like the wheel won't spin, happened to my dirt drag car , had me baffled and it was that simple, and btw I run 3D printed paddles on my drag car and they are plenty strong enough, yours look just fine

PLA would not work well for this, but a medium TPU might.

What is that a road car you show? Would those street tires work on any of the Groms?
@boduke94282 ай бұрын
Fewer paddles would help. The less power the lower the paddle count. Our is that vice versa? It's been a long time since i bought any paddle tires.

What about printing in TPU? Would get better grip and slightly flexible depending on infill settings! (Man I just heard you say that at end of video while typing this.)

🤔I'd give this a try and dip the 3D printed paddle Wheels in a can of rubber. 🤷♂️🌎✌
