3D printers are really useful. I gotta get me one. I can see everyone having one in the future

I was not sure I would use mine much when I got it but it has become handy. Just have to figure out how to use them. That was my big learning curve. But there are sites with tons of free file downloads that you can slice and print. Or they are real cheap. :)

I really like that Gary. That looks great and very useful too. I may try to make some of those for myself. Thanks and take care

Nice prints. Did not realise you could 3 D model. What software do you use? Nice design trick would be to radius the backplate to match the radius of the actual hanger shape. I learned the hard way to never use counter sink screws with plastic, the angle explodes the hole. Just heard Fusion, how did you ever learn that, I tried, way too complicated for me. I have always found if software and my brain to not align fairly quickly, I need to change the software or my brain! LOL

Thanks Nigel, I tried designing with some simpler software applications but I kept hitting things that they could not do. I started with fusion 360 a few times and had a hard time figuring out even how to start. But I finally went back to it and tried again and started watching different youtube videos for each step. I actually wanted to put a bigger radius on the main hanger so I would not need any supports but I could not get it to do more than a small curve. Which did help for strength but but I had to use the supports for that one part. My countersink holes did not countersink much at all. So I just took them up snug and didn't crank down on them. I was worried about the plastic cracking. I still have a lot to learn on both designing and 3D printing. But it was a fun project. My next video is on hangers I made for my 2"x72" belt sander belts. And I got those designed to not have supports. I am still editing that video. Take care.

You could sell stuff online and make a pile Gary

Thank you. I appreciate that. I need to get some extras made and put them online to see if they sell. Might not get rich but maybe get some extra to use toward another printer or tool for the shop. :) thanks again.
