At the end yes you showed it can be destroyed and toppled. I really like how you split the levels for that purpose.

Nice work, I love Printable Sceneries models, they have always looked like scratch built models brought to life instead of digital sculptures to me.

Thanks! And I agree, very nice models. You can tell they put a lot of works into them.

the layer lines are not particularly noticable. this is something i'm a bit obsessed about, and the reason i haven't been very productive with my ender 3 even though i've had it for almost 3 years

It's amazing how far the tech has come. I'm quite impressed with it. and excited to see what it becomes in the future.

i just bought the a1 mini but i wonder if i can just break up parts and glue them together simply?
@OkayHobbyTime3 ай бұрын
I've noticed a lot of STL vendors provide files already broken up to fit smaller machines. Otherwise, slicing a model yourself is definitely an option.

I just bought this printer is there any tips to get prints to stick to print bed ? What are your settings for pla I have had trouble with abs as well.
@OkayHobbyTime9 ай бұрын
I'm using AnkerMake PLA+ with default printer settings (easy mode). I believe that's the easiest stuff to print with and I've had absolutely no issues so far. Also make sure the print bed / nozzle is heated to the correct temperature, but that should be done by default unless the settings were changed.

feels soulless to me, but not everyone got the time to build from scratch or the "talent" for building things on their own

I’m not offended nor wishes to offend, just hoping to share a different view to the comment. In my case, I have limited space, that is why initially learned to 3D design. I absolutely love designing and creating. Being physically disabled I am able to create within my tolerance of sitting at a desk. I can’t agree with you, it takes passion and love to make those models, and so much individuality can added to the printed product. Aside from printing, painting, you can add your own touch to it. The other beauty of that, you can make more if the terrain happens to be modular and compatible with other terrain of the same theme. While one terrain prints, you can work on your finish touches. It’s also easier way to share the hobby.

For sure-a great alternative for those not able to / don't want to scratch build. The tech has come quite a long way!
