Hello Raf, you can also make the hollow and holes in your slicer ! it's petty much faster, for the scale, you can also use the plugin scale master how create a box for you at the size of your print, then scale at the precise size of you want :) And Ryan's Tool have a brush to amplifiate details, works great ! Anyway, great job as always !

Do you hollow the model in ZBrush or just let the sliver do it? I’ve had better results from hollowing it out myself

Hey Raf, thank you for helpful video as always. Any tips on decimation before 3d print? How much should we decimate in order to get a decent good quality print for filament printer (I'm using Ender 3). I didn't want to decimate too much and lose the detail, at the same time don't want to waste filament to print out detail that printer extruder can't handle. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you :)

Rafael, tem como explicar em PT aquela parte do "inflate -0.2"? Não entendi o porquê... Parece que ficou alguns porinhos, mas não entendi ao certo se é pra algo funcional na impressão ou algo estético.

Hey Raf Grassetti, Nice work on the sculpt of Rafael Brandão by the way! I’m curious. Do you sculpt the characters in the final pose or do you ever use a posing rig to create the final pose? If you do use a posing rig, do you ever create animations with the characters you sculpt?

You are very welcome! I’m getting into sculpting and 3D modeling more and more using Blender. I’m considering trying out Zbrush. Would love to see future videos on how you achieve the final pose in Zbrush. No pressure though! Thanks again for the live-streams. They really do help out a lot. 😎😄

There is a lot of approaches to sculpting in poses you can just sculpt from scratch using your standard dynamesh sculpting from a sphere if your not using a base mesh and pose it as you go using masking but this waste a lot of time because you end up sculpting everything asymmetrically from the start and you end up doing everything twice especially if your not using a base mesh from the start. To solve this you can just sculpt your characters in an a pose and then use transpose master to pose your mesh and then break symmetry and sculpt in all the asymmetrical forms. But that's mostly for game ready models when your trying to pose your character for portfolio shots. For something like this where it's not a game ready mesh and he is just sculpting for fun for printing he probably uses a mannequin from zbrush and poses it from the start then starts sculpting at a low res and subdividing it as he needs more resolution. As for animation its a completely different skill set. Raf is a character artist so he spends most of his time sculpting characters. It would be a waste of time for him to animate his characters. Hope this helps

@@odawne You should check out Daniel bel because he does of sculpting in these poses considering he does a lot of collectibles. Here is a helpful video going over how to sculpt a realistic bodybuilder similar to rafs. I pre-ordered my mono x as soon as they went up and was told it would ship by oct 5th but have heard nothing, starting to get worried. I tried to contact them but haven't heard anything. You wouldn't happen to know if they started shipping them out would you?
