Hey Darren, I get a lot of value from, and look forward to all your videos, especially the 3D prints for the workshop series. The tool drawer organisers are terrific. Keep them coming. Cheers 👍

Thanks for sharing. I just got a 3D printer for Christmas. ANd I’m wanting to make things for the shop. It’s amazing how many things you can make. Great stuff.

The shelf pin jig extender is a great idea. I have 3 of them and I will definitely be downloading the file. I love these 3D prints in the workshop vids. Keep them coming. 👍👍👍

The router that you are using looks the same as mine- a Triton. These have top access height adjustment by winding handle. No need to access the bottom adjuster... Kreg jig extender- good idea. Even better is to 3D print the whole jig... Love 3D prints in the workshop- keep up the good work!

Hi Mike, there is a height adjuster that can be accessed from the top of the table, but the locking lever is down there next to the main knob. The knob also gives a coarser adjustment making it quicker to raise or lower the body from there. So when I'm changing bits, I always access from the bottom. its much faster. Cheers.

I’d find use for the kreg jig offset block but with a ledge to register on edge. Maybe just the join block with holes to add a wood block to handle all that.
@DarrensWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Indeed a block of wood would do the trick. But I would probable throw the block away at some point and then have to make another. This way the block is clearly labeled so I won't accidentally throw it out.

my model of triton router has biult in lift that goes through top of table with provided key, easy pizzy. cannot remember model but its their largest here in UK

Hi Chris, It's probably the same one I have here kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWWwnXt3hplqb7s. Triton actually started in Australia with the invention of the Work Centre (convertible table saw.) They make great products. The Triton Mk3 was my first table saw.

Question on the router bit centering jig. What is the minimum thickness of material that it will work with? Will it work with 3/4" stock?
@DarrensWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex, The centring jig will work with ant thickness from about 2/16" (~3mm) up. That's thickness, top to bottom when lying on the table. I'd be looking at 25mm (1") width from the fence to the bracket of the centre finder.
@AlexK070102 жыл бұрын
@@DarrensWorkshop sorry meant to say width not thickness. so it won't work with 3/4" width stock from the fence
@AlexK070102 жыл бұрын
Hi Darren. Just bought the 1/4" model. One small issue, the Quarter inch centre finder Bar.stl file contains both objects and the bracket is intefering with placement of the bar on the bed. Can you post just the stl for the bar without the bracket?
@DarrensWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex, I have uploaded a new model of the bar to Cults 3D

Can you post the file for the Trion winder holder?
@DarrensWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex. These files used to be on Thingiverse, but I see that link is no longer working and that the parts have disappeared. This has happened a few times before, so that is why I will be putting up links to Printables.com from now one. Anyway, here is what you were looking for, www.printables.com/model/234283-triton-router-winder-holder

Hi Darren, love the quarter inch centre finder, I've downloaded it and found it's to long for my ender 3 print bed. Can it be reduced in length and still give an accurate result? Cheers Tim
@DarrensWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
@@TimOE2000 Hi, Have you tried orientating it diagonally across the print bed? If you shorten it too much, it will only work with thin stock. It may also loose some accuracy.
