Hi Gregory. That’s excellent. It’s funny I started this channel a few years ago to share my music. But the workshop videos proved to be more popular. Have a great day. Darren.

I bought a new printer also and my prints are over twice as strong. I have leaned a ton of things to help make prints better. I like hatchbox black filament. Thanks for sharing.

If you put a nut bolt through the 3d dog it will strengthen it by way of compression

Your first printer prints look to me like your top and bottom layers need to be increased, as well as possibly your perimeters. I see infill showing through them in previous videos also. Increasing these would make the prints much stronger. That is in part why the MK3 has better looking prints. Not the only reason, but definitely a factor. Perhaps for small shop tools, like the ones you show here, need heavy infill. Maybe even 100%.

Or is this due to inaccuracy of your printer horizontal expansion. Naturally 3d printers do print larger diameters than stl defines. My own uses 0.05 negative to get it right.

You will be pleased to know that this has the longest intro of all my videos. The rest are much shorter.
