3D shapes using gradient trigger in 2.2 (TUTORIAL)

I'll make a more explained tutorial if people in the comments requested me to. For now, just try to watch and understand this carefully, it's not hard to make those just uses lots of triggers and yeah
the star on the other video will be on the next tutorial (maybe?)

It's not really THAT Hard to make given the possibilities of 2.2 editor. It's actually just a couple Gradient triggers that do all the magic, and they are actually pretty basic

@@loovigmd i hope that 2.2 will lower the level quality standards and allow anybody to easily create anything what they can came up with and get aknowledged. Because in 2.1 to make something creative and unique, you had to spend a lot of time on a very poorly unoptimized and buggy thing because that was the only way. But now you can have multiple ways of making same things, which is super cool and I could clearly see a lot of potential in it

well tbh you can just add more vertices to make the star, with the rotation though you may need to add center object for rotation.

This method doesn't seem to be proper for non-transparent cubes, as you can see 4 sides at once (normally u can only see 3) if you make a cube like this. also, at one point the cube will stretch by itself. not sure if you can make a video for a fix of this

Well if you just set the layers of the front plane higher than the 4 sides, you can do that so the cubes aren't transparent and acts 3 dimensional, only problem though is that sometimes when you set 2 or more shades on the side plane colors (e.g. 1 is lighter and 1 is darker or different color), the layering messes up and the only way to fix that is to reupdate them based on where the camera is and set additional gradient triggers to achieve the seemless effect (can't explain it more enough I hope it makes sense)

How do I make the star

Put one hidden point in the center of the star and then make each star out of 5 gradients touching at the center point. You can do tricks with the colors to make it look like one shape. Then do the walls in between the two stars.

that means there must be more than 1 object that has the same group id used, or maybe the some of the gradient triggers you used have the same effect id (which u should always have different for every trigger)
