Question about putting full tips on with dark color..... If you have to use your lamp, doesn't it make it harder for the nail to adhere OR do you just use super glue?? I'm still new. Thank you in advance 🦋

@@darlenegraham6135 with dark colours, for sure apply the tips to nail first if using a UV glue or polygel/hybrid gel to adhere to nails. If just using normal nail glue that doesn't require a lamp, then you can premake tips and apply to nails at the end. The reason is because the light needs to be able to get through the colour to adhere glue to the nail properly, so if the colours are too opaque which dark pigments tend to be, it won't cure properly.

The snowflake design is beautiful. So many great color options for a winter of flakes. Maybe I'll try an eggplant purple nail with a gold snowflake then add the acrylic powder. The ideas just keep coming up. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love you so much, but snowflakes ❄ are hexagonal. They're 6 sided, so they only have three lines in their cross. Tell Grant that we love him, miss him, and wish him the happiest of Christmases! 😄

Also, 8 is so much easier to get right than 6 because you can draw a T then an X. I always paint snowflakes on nails with 8 for that reason.

Iv done this is sections too! Ill do a few lines then put powder and nuke it then do more lines! Keeps everything from bleeding too much and easier to fix my mistakes! Lol my art skills are very good though

I'm really feeling these right now! Thank u Suzie. I was just thinking should I use those little plastic snowflakes I have again and then u popped up with way better ones. Which also means I can use all my new stuff from my present I bought myself. I have a white acrylic I think it's dip actually, but it's super glittery n pretty and I got new liner brushes and for the base color I have some new cream clays and there's a really gorgeous Red in there that I can use. I might add some bling or some foil or maybe do a chrome red accent nail. But Suzie u are my inspiration for helping actually put wuts floating around in my head all together into a cohesive look. Without u I don't think I could get it together as well. So thank u. Btw do u ever need to top coat a sugar design also to seal it in and protect it? Is that possible and or necessary, have u ever done it or needed to? TY❤

I do my own gel nail polish on myself and I think I have a fungus but not sure what helps I’ve tried so many things. My skin is cracked on my thumbs (fissures) and like skin grows between the nail and skin. I’ve kept them short but I’m getting desperate. I think I’m going to go see a dermatologist. Any ideas what this is ?

Too thick , the edges are uneven. Cuticles are not cut. For nail technique is awful. Check russian technique
