Tired to follow along with this tutorial but when I took it into after effects and tried separating the texted from back ground it did not separate properly, and was not as smooth like yours. It separated parts of the texted and left parts out. I failed to get it anywhere near as I used your tutorial to learn as a beginner but I Dont know what has happened. I followed step by step and Dont know if there were any buttons or controls you used that I might have not seen or know about during the process.
