Best F360 tutorial I’ve seen. Straight, to the point, covers all the things you need to know. Thanks!

Your voice is clear, your wording is efficient and effective, your style is on point, and the content / explanation are absolutely perfect.

Really good beginner tutorial sir. You didn't try to cover too much. You showed just enough to get people that are new to CAD type programs to realize that they aren't that difficult to use, but at the same time you showed how useful they can be.

I very rarely leave comments on videos, but this one is really worth it, after watching several tutorial videos for Fusion 360 I was about to give up and remove the software from my computer but not anymore after watching your video, thank you so much!!

Thank you, I’ve been pulling my hair out for 2 days trying to get 360 to do what I want. Searching google, watching videos, tried the help on fusion and I was just getting frustrated and ready to throw the whole idea out. Your video was extremely easy to follow and makes fusion look easy. THANK YOU 🙏

I watched other videos that were absolutely frustrating! This was the best one hands down! Definitely going to subscribe 👍🏼

Fantastic! I downloaded the program last night and just fiddled around, trying to get an idea of the layout and functions, but I got stuck pretty quickly, (and I had to head to bed), but after watching this, I'm extremely excited to meet home from work and start designing a few parts that I wasn't able to find an STL for. I'm only a week into owning a 3D printer, and I can say, I have definitely found my calling. I've always loved building by hand with wood and metal, but living in a 1 bedroom apartment means that I don't have the workspace. This is already scratching that itch. Great tutorial, I really appreciate this!

Thanks for the guide and for showing different methods (primitives and sketches), as well as helping me to understand how tools work. I'm a long-time Autocad user who's cant be 'effed with the new subscription model. I've been finding Fusion's interface so confusing - Until now!. I see what's meant by "parametric CAD" now too - More object-focused and constraint-based modelling with timeline and a handful of tools, instead of using layers and a thousand different tools and commands. This must be what it felt like trying to switch from MS-DOS to a modern OS, good lord. (also, no idea why. The sound of your 3D printer chugging away in the background is reassuring that i'm barking up the right tree!)

hi, great video for the basic altought I didn't find what I was looking for which is how do I bend a panel inward like for a bullet impact with an angle or creating a tissue effect if that makes more sense.

So, I'm on the very first bit, creating a cylinder after the box. Fusion (latest version, December 24) just doesn't do the snap to edges thing, it creates a cylinder, sure, but creates it from that first edge. Have Autodesk changed the application since this video was made?

I downloaded it and only have a file section. No way of getting to a workspace. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something? I’m on an iPad if that helps.

so your tutorial is clear, but I am not getting the same options as you. I don't see the centre triangles, and I can't select the sides to get the dimensions. Resulted in the hole not being in the centre, and now it has disappeared altogether.

I did the search as described, but it no longer says "360". Just Fusion for Personal Use. Is this still the same product? I know - absolutely dumb question - but I truly AM a complete newbie.

I could NOT get the cylinder to find the center point the way you described. After 30 minutes of repeating the steps you did over and over, I gave up. Is it because you're on an apple and I'm on a PC? Very frustrating.
@broj8 ай бұрын
OK, I had the same issue, and I think I figured out, it looks like you don't actually click it, you just hover over the centre point of the edge on the edge move curse toward the centre of the object, then hover over the other edge centre point then move back toward the centre point and you should now have two guidelines intersecting. Then you can click the centre point. Hope that makes sense?
@TrishMeyer996 ай бұрын
Even easier. Draw a 2D line on your Rectangle from one corner to the opposite corner. Hit Escape to exit Line. Select Create > Point, hover over the center of the line until you see the "triangle" (the Midpoint Constraint) pop up, then click to add a point. Hit Escape again to exit Point. That is then a centerpoint you can use. To make this line a construction line, select it and press X.

Absolute total CAD beginner here. Your video begins by assuming that my settings are the same as yours and that I already know how to navigate and manipulate the object. In the first 5 minutes, I had to stop and figure out every step you did without explanation and why my drawing wasn't doing the same. Literally nothing you demonstrated worked the same. As a career IT networking instructor, I'd suggest starting even more basic to equip people with the basic skills of setting up and navigating the environment before charging ahead with the project. I found that just understanding several basic elements that you leave unsaid helped greatly.

I'm having the same results. I try to create the cylinder and as soon as I select the second edge the cylinder shows up on the first edge. No way to move it to the center. Looking for another tutorial.
@besomewheredosomethingАй бұрын
@@RandomTorok The guy took literally ONLY 20 minutes to give an excellent crash course on Fusion 360 and you two immediately complain. I do get it, but it really isn't hard to sort out. He is working a Mac and I am on a PC, so there are differences. A couple of the key combos didn't work, so I figured them out. I think you two probably could do the same if you applied yourself. Then again, maybe an 8 - 12 hour tutorial is what you need, which is just fine.
