I have one of the early review copies of this printer (I love it). @42:38 You got two left bracket setups. Take the bearings off the right bracket and move them to the other side of the right bracket so all the bearings are on the inside.

I am happy to see you call out chat bs for bashing a printer based on minor preproduction hickups rather then how it prints. Seriously an iffy manual, A glued knob, and a reversed motor are such minor things. What isn't minor is Dual Z, Linear rail, and super chunky double gantry for that price.

As only one axis is reverted, the print must be symetrical as what it should be. I believe you should remove the extensions on the connector the goes on the motor (with your knife) so you could plug it in any direction, and then choose the appropriate one. For the red wheel in would drill a hole and tap it, and add a small screw to fix in on the axis.

I only skimmed through the recording of the live stream - I also have a Beta Kywoo Tycoon machine - My red wheel was extremely secure. I also tried to install the XY assembly with all 4 feet attached as well as backwards. Make sure your hand built part cooling fan was not installed upside down - intake should be pointing towards the bed. Kywoo emailed me an STL for their production model's cooling nozzle. It took me a few tries to figure out the Z-offset I needed. With my fan adjusted and Z-offset nearly perfect, my prints are coming out beautiful. I'm still typing up my formal review. I don't have setup/editing software for my budding youtube channel yet. :(

I use flashforge pla on 1kg spools as my everyday filament and for the price (£18 in the uk) it prints well and just works. I did find it to be a little stringy too, but just needed a retraction tune.

It's pretty obvious the bed is mounted backwards. The belt is connected to the wrong side and the motor is pulling it backwards.

You mentioned early in the video that this printer had a BL Touch on it. Genuine ANTCLABS BL Touch units don't have green-red-orange ribbon wires on them. That's probably a "3D Touch" clone from BigTreeTech, even the GeeeTech "3D Touch" clone has brown-red-orange ribbon wires on it like the original.

As far as the knob goes, a stop-gap measure could be use of a metal-specific epoxy like JB-Weld

Changing the plugs doesn't blow anything up. 24V on the thermistor would heat it up with 0.0005 W, that isn't a problem. Using the bed as a thermistor would only show a very high temperature.

To by honest looking at a series of printer on a store shelf, many small printer beside a ander alike.... i took that one first....the bed track are wide apart, all the electronic is inside a box like industrial one... and the head seen a complete metal box...the only visual bother is the way wiring enter the head. butits direct drive, or close.

The "Auto-leveling Printing" and "Unique & Elegant Appearance" videolets on Kywoo 3D's site, www.kywoo3d.com/, show the Y-axis limit switch at the front of the Tycoon's frame just like the unit you received which suggests that your Y-axis stepper motor's wires were indeed reversed. It would have been interesting to see if an XYZ 20mm Calibration Cube had the X at the front (normal) or the back (reversed).

Please stop reviewing Kickstarter printers that may never come and if they do come may be riddled with faults, see the CR6E for an example of problems and poor customer service. There is no advantage to Kickstarter that outweighs the risks so please stop reviewing them. Do it once it is a retail product.

Missed the stream, halfway done now and the autodesk Kickstarter print test is going. Super cheat mode enabled using supports for the overhang test. Should be banned from Kickstarter for cheating at the universal test.

??? You have a very low threshold it seems..I have about 6 3D printers both FDM and Resin and None of them including the Prusa or Ender 3 worked "right out the box" with out some fiddling adjusting several leveling attempts..moving the adjusting the endstops etc..for Brand new small company this worked out pretty good, you want to see what a POS looks like go back and watch last weeks WUXN Video and that thing costs Hundreds of dollars More and was Made in the USA!

Do you understand the difference between a single person assembling an entire printer and an assembly line? When a device goes into production each person has a specific task that they learn to do well and at the end of the line you have a well built machine. I do however share your sentiment that a printer sent out for review which was not tested doesn't bode well with future QC.
