Thanks for this! Been wondering for a long time how I can connect to separate polygons. Thanks a lot for this tutorial!

@SeezeHD Alt + W is the shortcut for maximize and minimize view. Right click in a viewport and then the shortcut for maximize view (Alt + W) is what I use for fast navigation.

@smoke9206 That's just the viewport render, you shouldn't judge by that. :) The model is correct, in case you were wondering.

@triprascica Make sure you don't have a polygon there: your mesh has to be 'open' when you bridge the edges. So the the four edges you have selected on one end should make up a hole and not a polygon.

I didn't know about the Extrude along spline, thanks!

Nice but here is an example where the right button comes in handy. While rotating things like that just right-click the rotate transform button and input the angular offset of 360/N/2 where N is the number of sides, 11.25 in this case. Way more accurate then by hand (even with snap enabled), also way less tricky.

@onnovanbraam hey i have on question that i've been trying to figure out all day ! how do you see the white lines in the cup, when your at your 'realistic' view ?
@lukaszantoniak90469 жыл бұрын
I wondering about the key to select all edges of circle at the bottom of your cup.. look at 1:13?
@onnovanbraam9 жыл бұрын
Lukasz Antoniak I have the 'Ring' command shortcutted. It's also a button under editable poly, when you are in edges mode.

@Tamlyntamlyn Have you selected the polygons that you want to slice? And is you plane in the right position and does it have the right orientation/rotation? Those are the only things that could go wrong when you slice plane. :) Good luck; let me know if things work out.

I don't understand the title: is this a quick video for a coffee mug, or a video for a quick coffee mug? If it is the second case, how quick does the coffee has to be to make the mug acceptable for design?
