In this 2-part tutorial series, we explore a method of spawning procedural actors from birthed actors, i.e. animated butterfly actors that spawn from bomb actors.
In this Part 1 video, we create our butterfly character by rigging a simple mesh, and assigning the rigged mesh to a TyActor object. Then, we attribute a simple looping animation to the butterfly actor to simulate wing movement. In the last part of the video, we set up a simple test-flow to visualize the butterfly flight movement using directional speed and a force operator.
