So I tried applying material on a chair, walls and what not, though it keeps coming up as a circle as if if were an image planted on the object.

Really useful, I hate boolean in max, even with a good workstation sometimes is a trial and error. I will start to use this method and see how it goes, but it looks promising.

Thanks for the video... music is a bit loud though. Makes it harder to focus on what you are saying. Me personally im nnot a fan of music while someone is explaining things (tutorials). I really dont get why people think its a g9od idea.

Fantastic: I've been looking for an animation creator tool in 3d that can be utilized to create models of Science concepts to augment learning. This looks very promising, I'll have to check it out some more.,

Hello, I'm Henry! Can I ask you a couple of questions about 3D Max?
@filipcza5 ай бұрын
If you think photoshop is a huge program, you have seen nothing if you haven't tried to master things like 3dsMax. The depth of this program is mind boggling. And then there are different things in pipeline like: modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, cameras, animation.. the amount of things to learn is endless. And if that's not enough you can add plugings...many, many plugings... I started with 3d Studio which was for DOS operating system way back and then used different max versions over time. I have tried to use some other 3D programs, but I keep coming back to 3dsmax. It's just so intuitive to use (once you learn the basics) and the tools are so powerful.
@wallacesousuke14334 ай бұрын
I prefer Maya but 3ds is so powerful for 3D modelling!

can we play it somewhere? (if you said it in the video sorry but honestly is too long can't watch it)
@simulation_lab5 ай бұрын
That's a great idea, I'll put the current version up on Itch so people can play it. I haven't added sound effects yet, but maybe I'll do that first. Sorry if the video is too long, it's just meant to be a full build from scratch and game dev takes a while 🙃
@technopixel60625 ай бұрын
@@simulation_lab sure would be super cool! anyway don't be sorry, it's just not the video for me but lots of people will love it!

dude we need more tyflow
@simulation_lab5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion, but tbh I’m not sure what else I could cover in TyFlow that I haven’t already. To do more sophisticated stuff, I could make tutorials on Houdini or just write code for vfx stuff, but idk if there’s an audience for that.

Fstorm is a separate plugin that you can install. This video generally covers material settings that will work in most rendering engines. Fstorm is just really simple for beginners.

please make more videos like this. 3ds max needs more recognition, its blender tuts everywhere and max tutorials are really old and you need to dig deep to find some good quality stuff.
