3DShoemaker: Introduction to A Fully Parametric Shoe Last Design Software

*edit*: figured it out. the FOLDER containing the files had a space in its title. my fault. The Rebuild function seems to freeze up the program though. -When I go to select a template in the build window, it tells me to remove spaces in the filename. I'm using the free template provided on your website, and have not renamed it since downloading. I checked, and there are no spaces in the name. I have also tried leaving the field empty, while having the template opened already. Any idea what's happening here?-

Hey mate, this seems awesome! I''m trying to create a similar design for a different application (arm/wrist) and was wondering what command(s) you used you to wrap the parametric curves into a solid/surface? Thanks in advance and great job!

You could try patching or network surface, but what's being done in 3DShoemaker is something more involved than just that...

I get the "Unable to validate PodoCAD plugin" when I try to run "OpenShoeLastMakerPanel" command. Any suggestions to fix that?

(pardon my poor spelling ) so i worked and studied footwear for 2 years to be a pattern cutter ( shoe designer ) i was pretty good for my rather short time in the industry ( 5 ihs years ) when i think of the last creation proses i know from 15+ years back. this dont look lick an improvement. espeshely when i think of what is avalabel in (sum free) 3d app's ( blender, 3ds max, maya, ect..... ) i use 3ds max and blender as a hobby, and i got a resin 3d printer to print out my models, all this con-bind is perhaps a little hard to find but all this means i can 3d model a custom last & shoe perhaps a lot faster than this plugin. and i have as recently as last year. i find it easier to get the carecter of the last in software i already know ( who uses Rhino? lol ) and has the support of a large open community to help with problems at the drop of a hat.
