Mine is quite different. I knew people could could visually see things in their minds because I remember being able to do it as a kid. I have no idea what changed, but it probably started to develop around early middle school. Because I was young, I didn’t really think much about it, but KZbin made me aware that this isn’t a common thing.

I am pretty sure there is some kind of lore or story happening with these ASMR videos mostly this one and the previous ASMR simulations. Theres a point in this video and some of the other videos, where you hear the guy talking in the background as if he’s having a convo your not suppose to hear. I wondered what he says but I mostly use these videos to sleep, so I haven’t dug into it yet.

Guess I was terminated 😅. I actually can't picture anything in my mind but I still feel tingles through audio. Tbh this kind of asmr is out of my comfort zone but I kinda love the creepy storyline even though I am not really fan of scary/unsettling films- maybe because there is no visual aspect is why I like it so much- even if i try my best to picture the sanario I can't so I might be less creeped than most people-aphantasia things. I am kind hooked though despite that! Also part of me hopes I can train my mind to visualise things but even if I never gain that ability I will still love asmr.

I SPRINTED to the comments to see if anyone actually has aphantasia. Aphantasia is a real condition where a person doesn’t "see" images in their head. They have memory, but an image doesn’t materialize when they recall things. Here's the crazy thing- I recently discovered that I have aphantasia, and all of a sudden this video comes on my autoplay. It wasn't the "almighty algorithm" popping up a video about the thing I've been Googling recently. I've been listening to this channel for about two months. What are the odds of that?! I wasn't paying attention at first. I thought he said "a fantasia," like some weird way of testing to see if a person can get tingles or feel "zen." Then the table and ball thing came up, and I was like *fAWk*. I've always been this way, but I didn't know there was any other way to be. To say I'm a little jealous of normal people would be accurate. Anyways, my ass was terminated.
