A THREE-FOOT long rabbit is gunning to become the world’s biggest bunny - and he’s only 10-months-old. Dexter, the humongous bunny from Basildon, Essex, already weighs more than three times the size of an average newborn baby and has at least another two years to grow to his full potential. Brad Paynter, Dexter’s owner, is more than optimistic his giant pet can outgrow the world’s biggest bunny, Darius - the 4ft 4 rabbit who just happens to be Dexter’s father.

sugar of any kind no matter how big or small the bun is...it is bad for them. the guy should stick to greens and only give small slices of apple and carrot once in a while as treats. Not as a part of his meal.

All rabbits are supercool. Mine are Netherlands dwarfs, 7 of them who all live indoors. Love them all to bits, all the domestic breeds are perfect and the wild ones, too.

I have a 11 week old flemish giant bunny and I did my research before choosing the breed I wanted since I've had three others growing up. Baby rabbits need alfalfa hay till 6 or 7 months then they can go to Timothy hay. Also there diets for pellets needs to be 16% protein and 12%-14% crude fibre. Be careful with fruit since seeds are poison for the same with corn and broccoli they have a sensitive digestive system so rabbit pellets that are dark green in color are best for them and fruit/veggies should only be given as treats.

Baby bunnies dont actually need alfalfa. They can have it, but with the right pellets Timothy can be just fine. I use pellets that are great for all ages and ive never had a problem with malnutrition.

All those apples and carrots and other fruits are sweet and rabbits shouldn’t eat them everyday. That is only a treat for them and you only give them a little.

Secondly I’m not telling them how to raise their pet because almost every bunny owner knows you don’t give rabbits a lot of fruits or carrots. They are treats. Rabbits are not like humans because our diets are different, firstly because we can eat lots of fruits and carrots since they are to for US. Those aren’t good for rabbits because it has too much sugar in it for them. If you do feed that to them it has to be a little bit because fruits and carrots are treats

Oh your so blessed I love bunnies and have always had giants but never that big my last one only died recently she loved the garden and also loved playing with my cat . She would come indoors she was a darling pure white with blue eyes . When I first got her she was maybe 4/5 months and had been passed around a bit but she settled into a lovely life with me 💖
