My process so far, I got the catch can and fuel pressure set up. I’ve been following what you’ve shown so far. I got the inter cooler in, boost gauges is coming in too.

Hola amigos, excelente video!!! Yo tengo un eclipse 2.4l y estoy pensando en ponerle turbo, pero quería saber donde se conectan los tubos de aceite para el turbo y si de podrian conectar estos tubos de aceite desde el motor hacia el turbo directamente, así como conectaron la oil catch can, que en lugar de la can se conecte el turbo... Its easy for all u guys with a 3g just replicate the turbo assembly from a 2g or a evo8 but u must look at the layout of all three cars depending the direction you choose evo 8 more close in design than 2g the rod u order to build a 2g eclipse are the same 150mm rods for a 3g the pistons you need are shelf pistons from stm tuned 9.7.1 1400 hd capable of 35psi with proper tune u could even pull 50 psi a guy in thailand has a high compression 10.5.1 making 50 psi and ove 1000 hp but i believe he chose a destroked version of the 2.4 which means a 2.4 block with an 88mm crank long rods and big turbo setup making 50 psi

I would have put some lock tight on the studs for the turbo manifold and turbo downpipe studs too it keep the studs in and from backing out.nice video

Thanks bro.. Usually I don't out lock tight on the exhaust bolts. I had bad experiences with seized exhaust bolts without it.

G2G Builds yeah I know I mean mostly the studs you put on the manifold for the turbo to bolt up to I have experienced with the studs that are threaded to the manifold backing off when when I tighten them causing an exhaust leak

Yes. It will take some work like every build, but it's possible. I have seen Turbo 2.4 and 3.0 eclipse.

The process is still the same, but since you have a 3.0 there are things that will change, but the concept is identical.

Monta un 3.5L de diamante o 3.8L de 4G Eclipse.. Si no quieres cambiar motor, pues nitroso sería la mejor opción. Dicen q a los V6 3.0 no les gusta el boost.

The link that I had is no longer valid. You make have to make your own down pipe. You can get the 5 bolts flange from eBay or Amazon and the 90 degree bend.

Eclipse are such nice car. Just got a paint job, 18inch rims black on black. I was going to sell it but I'm like I'll revive it, they are rare vehicle, the guy who painted it wanna to buy and I have a dealership that was ready to write me a check. I'm like oh no it ain't for sale. Now my next project is to turbo it. Any like where i can buy a full turbo kit, I'll appreciate it.

I haven't seen any reviews online for the Becker High Performance Ignition Coils. Do they really outperform the OEM coils and give better acceleration as advertised or they function just as an OEM unit and for the looks? Will this give me any boost at all on a N/A application? Thanks!

Honestly, we don't have an answer. We installed them after the car was turbo and until now the car is not tune yet. We looking forward to see the results after tuning the car.

La opcion más fácil es flash la ECU original usando el cable tatrix 2.0. La cosa es saber si tienes algún tuner local que pueda hacerte el tuneo.

I got it on eBay before the pandemic. I just searched and i couldn't find anything. You may have to weld it yourself or find a shop to get it done for you. Best of luck!

@@age7232 that turbo should work. Adding a turbo into this engine will require a lot of modifications to make sure it runs right.

Probably the easiest thing to do, will be to relocate the battery to the trunk and use the space to mount turbo. You will need a custom exhaust manifold/header that connects both exhaust banks to the turbo and then do the downpipe. You will need to upgrade injectors, fuel pump and get the car tune. I'm sure you can daily drive the car in about 5-8psi. Many people said that the 3.0L doesn't like too much boost, but i never have worked with them.

This is a friends car. For my understanding, most of the part he got them from amazon and ebay, except the ecu.

@@3geclipse985 The ecu is to control fuel and timing, since the stock ecu can't supply the fuel need it for a turbocharged engine. Most likely you will need bigger injectors and upgrade fuel pump to boost at least 5-7psi or more.

How did they bypass the 02 sensor on the 4 cylinder models the 02 sensor is right on the exhaust manifold I saw no 02 sensor

The sensor is actually on the downpipe.
