@@JonathanMiller-fs6ro I have two dogs, just hard floor, never gonna use it in carpet just worry about vacuum the pets hair and mop. I hate vacuum every day due to my pets hair. I just don't wanna deal with vacuum getting hair stuck. You think the eufy is better ?
@JonathanMiller-fs6roАй бұрын
S1 mopping is the best. imo s1 vacuuming is meh at best. I personally didn’t like curv, I liked the slim pretty much same bot if money isn’t issue. this me I’m cheap and value a dollar, do a lot research before buying anything. slim rn is 1000 but anything you buy will have be Maintained. idk how bad dog hair is as I don’t have pets but yea I’d assume those would be best. most people a spinning mop will work fine unless you just live nasty nasty not judging just saying. These test a lot run ain’t real world test they just showing limits of bots tons of deals tho.

@@JonathanMiller-fs6ro hey man I really appreciate the time you take to answers random person question.. I really appreciate and you are awesome brother don't forget it... and I have a boxer which I don't deal with hair but the other one is the magnificent.. the elegant... the fluffy king... a husky 🥲🥲 and I clean my house everyday, love being in my house with everything clean smelling good. So I always vacuum. But I also want a vacuum that feel the material is premium and if I learn something is that cheap sometimes gets expensive cuz you ended buying more stuff. What part of the curb didn't like it ? What about the roborock s8 pro? Or the x40 dreame?

There is no robot vacuum that could get that corner. I was thinking the best way to clean a corner would be to have a robot vacuum that has some type of side suction to get those corners.

The most interesting thing about this robot is the water recycling feature. Wish you could test it for a like at least half to 1 year to tell how it will perform. Also excited about your new robot studio, patiently waiting to see it finished.

Im a water engineer working in a filtration systems company. Im extremely sceptical regarding the recycling of the dirty water! But curious as well 😊
@troldrikАй бұрын
Seems like a terribly energy inefficient method of doing it too. Dehumidifying air to get new water, and evaporating the dirty water to recycle it.
@loganrossignolАй бұрын
Is your concern around the reliability of being able to move the dried gunk from the dirty water into the dust bin?
@eskimofo9i6Ай бұрын
Finally!!! The corner cleaning brush sweeper is kind of disappointing. I do like it stops the side brushes when it detected mud
@xeon2k8Ай бұрын
it cannot raise it so kinda useless, the x40 can rise it and the qrevo master too. Also on minute 46 you can see the main roller is dirty, that's because it hasnt got roller riser neither, unlike the aforementioned
@eskimofo9i6Ай бұрын
Would be interesting to put a Electricity Meter on it to see how much power it uses to clean the water. I think it's called a Kill-A-Watt
@krystianstepien5835Ай бұрын
Yes. I do this with all my electronic devices. My vacuum Xiaomi X20+ cost a dollar a month (everyday vacuuming and mopping).
@maurozammarano6651Ай бұрын
Boiling water is very energy inefficient but convinient because avoids to refill water. Dehumidificators are also energy hogs. So yeah the energy bill might go up significantly with this robot. In countries were energy is not cheap this might be a limitation
@xeon2k8Ай бұрын
@@maurozammarano6651 there's no escaping to refilling the water, the mop puts water on the floor so if you mop every day after couple weeks you will have to refill it for sure. This will give you less frequently refilling sure, but not for free, you need to replace the carbon filter after 100h
@maurozammarano6651Ай бұрын
@@xeon2k8 it really depends on how often you mop how large the house is and how much humidity you have but I bet that in most cases you can avoid refilling. Problem is how reliable such a complex machine is. There will be definetely issues...

It's extremely telling that this is the ONLY review that I've seen that is from an actual customer and not someone being paid. There's already fairly little content available on this thing and the content that is is almost exclusively (basically all except this video at the moment) just advertisements. Honestly, that and the seemingly fake reviews on the listing (plus its meh performance here) are why I didn't spring for it on black friday. I want to see longer term reviews on it - that base gives me pause. I can think of a bunch of ways how that will be a problem for owners in the future.

I'm always skeptical when a product has fake reviews on Amazon. Those three 5-star reviews currently present on Amazon are actually quite funny. Putting that aside, I think this could be a nice idea for a business but not for a home, I can't imagine living with this compressor's loud sound 24/7. Also, the water production rate will no way be enough for daily cleaning so what's the point.

Yay
@Ozzie4Para12 күн бұрын
I really like the idea of this but the idea of this unit relying on a freon based compressor system has me wondering what the life span would be. $1800 is a lot of money for something to only last maybe a few years (at best) before the compressor either quits working or the freon system develops some sort of leak. Then what? Good luck trying to find a repair man to fix that.

That’s the only robot vacuum cleaner that I have ever heard that has a male voice
@RaidomАй бұрын
A few things I didn't like : 1) Base station is way too loud. 2) I'm not trusting it to do a good job turning dirty water into clean water. I wish they could have just done the 2 tank system. 3) Obstacle detection seems pretty poor at the moment. Seems like this robot needs a few generations to mature. I really hope they reconsider the water recycling system, I don't feel like it's going to do a very good job cleaning the water.

What is the average annual cost for energy. Since millions of these will be sold, what will the new cost be with 10 to 20% Tarifs , a new tax under 47th president against China? Easier to use a stick Mop or keep dogs out of the house. A sponge Mop and a towel is cheaper plus faster, How lazy can we get? They require their proprietary cleaning fluid so warranty will have exclusion clause to void it. That is another cost. Also, escape clause in contract. Water, problem for people in hard water areas causing early failure. 🤔 Maintenence will be high. Other machines better choices at better prices. 😇
@TheTravellingNoobАй бұрын
Well, for that price, not worth it, the navigation seems lackluster, app and the map is trash, settings are mostly hidden, corner cleaning non existent, only "fascinating" thing is the base that makes water, but in the manual there is a note that its normal to replenish water manually as well, and also the cleaning solution system, makes you bus just their solution, all in all, deffo not worth it!
@JustADadАй бұрын
good points
@TheTravellingNoobАй бұрын
@@JustADad Thnx for affirming my thoughts, i have seen it in action, in person, at my friends house, and compared to my X40 ultra, its nowhere near in terms of navigation, as for the noises that the base makes, its also kind of loud, but the one thing that got me was that the solution is proprietary and they make you buy theirs, crazy stuff indeed, sorry if i came off as attacking you in my original comment, i do love your videos, and your x40 ultra video helped me in my decision to buy an x40 for my house

@@TheTravellingNoobthe X40 ultra is trash. I just returned mine and bought the 3i s10 ultra. Dreame has terrible support and even worse robot vacuums.
@TheTravellingNoobАй бұрын
@@14chaychay to each their own, but having seen this robot in action, and owning an x40 ultra, its miles ahead, not sure what issues you had with yours?
@14chaychayАй бұрын
@ I agree that the navigation on the Dreame X40 was better but I think the i3 will improve that with software updates. The issue I had with the X40 and my X30 was the self empty base station. It was very weak and would often times leave a lot of debris in the vacuum dust bin. It also had a hard time picking up dog hair on the tile floor. Many people on Reddit had these similar issues. But I hope it continues to be a good robot vacuum for you! Also just a suggestion for you would be to purchase the extended warranty if you bought it from Amazon. The manufacturer warranty is terrible because Dreame customer support is not good at all.
