The S1 is not the best when it comes to vacuuming, but it does look to be the best at mopping. Mopping is exactly what I need most in my house.

This was a great comparison and review. I regularly see the eufy x10 at 580 to 680€ and thats just a bargain for that robot. Our neighbors have the Dreame X40 and it was 1500€. Sure its a little better, but is it almost 3 times better? If it lasts as long as the Dreame does, the eufy X10 is just a price to performance king.

Great video, been looking and comparing these two robot vacuums for a few weeks now.. dont mind spending the money for the best but tough to know with out these videos. The dust bins don't look very big though. I vacuum with a dyson and have to empty it 3 times so guessing the robot will have to empty 20 + times?

I am in the middle of a 30 day test, its been vacuuming my house 15 of the 30 days and the results are amazing!!!! so much dirt and hair its picking up, I will be releasing a video coming soon, at this point I would give it my Just a Dad Sticker seal of approval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the good review. I find it frustrating when companies sell you something which is supposed to be a higher grade and so much better than lower end and cheaper models, but it's not. I'm pretty sold on the S1 Pro, but the Pro part of the name is deceiving. The fact that they've given it a less competent detector and not even anything to deal with long hair, is very frustrating, so I'm holding back on buying just yet, especially at £1,500 / US$1,945!!! Frankly, I think the FOB price for these ex China is around US$400-US$500 at most. Maybe much less.

Dried spaghetti or maybe toothpaste. That’s not a lot of hair from a dog. If you own a dog I would say 5 times that and I vacuum 2 times a day. Portable vac picks up a can a day of hair. Oh the pets.

does the S1 for example if the woom is to big and he needs to empty the dirty tankt, wash his roller and also dries it? or does it just wash it and goes back out cause a wet roller would be needed anyway

Kind of hard to make a fair comparison, I would say for roughly 2.5x less cost (with the prime day sale) the x10 pro is the clear choice. Additionally, while the mopping performance is and truthfully should be exceptional on the s1 pro, it has seriously bad reviews on carpet cleaning ability. The x10 may not be superior, but to be 80-85% as good and even better with carpet pickup ability, I think it's going to be hard for the S1 to sell.

I hate how erratic the navigation can be with the X10. Will constantly do random circles vs just back and forth lines. Seems to be much worse with the edge mopping function on.

Compair the moping against the first brava floor Mop which I have 320. It fits almost under everything and reaches every corner. It's still pretty impressive for something over 20+ years old.

I also tried the X10. What is good about it that it comes back frequently to the station to wash pads and doesn't smear around like Dreame, Roborocks. again you cant compare those two. makes no sense.

It depends: if you have pets/kids and need a balance between vacuuming and mopping functions, I'd go with the X10. But if you value mopping above all else, with descent vacuuming performance, than the S1 may make for sense.

€1500 euro’s in the Europe for the s1 I’m going for the dreame x40 that I bought on Amazon for 1350 euros, still a lot of money but I don’t think I will regret it.

Great review! Just wanted to point out something misleading you’ve been saying. The Eufy S1 Pro has the absolute best obstacle avoidance on the market. And yes, that is a camera on the front of the Eufy S1 Pro. Every other review also states this, even showing “obstacle courses” with shoes and cords. Might be worth showing that.

Yes I was going to bring this up, every other video I've watched of the S1 Pro showed it being absolutely perfect at avoiding obstacles. Obviously I'm not doubting anyone's results, just weird that this is the only video I've seen mentioning subpar obstacle avoidance. Also as @whopperlover1772 mentioned the S1 Pro does have a RGB camera, it just doesn't take pictures (at least not yet).

I have a x10 and s1 to compare. X10 brush was great but the ends where it attaches to the bot always got jammed with dog hair. The brush didn't but the ends did and the way they're built makes the ends hard to unwind from hair and all that. S1 doesn't have a brush so it's going to be limited like all silicone brushes are when heavy dust or dog dander makes them slippery. The brush also has a similar rubber brush to some older style bots which get clogged and jammed... I prefer the s10 if they can figure out tapering the ends so it's easy to get hair off or make it so it never clogs and only attaches on one end so the hair falls off. Also the drain on the s1 seems horrible, tons of pieces that can be clogged and it spits dirty water...

That dirty water emptying mechanism of mach needs some work, it just sprays dirty water all over the space, imho closed system would be much cleaner

Ive had the s1 pro since may 29th and it has 21 hours of run time, dustbag is halfway full, and ive refilled the water just ounce, dirty water tank i always empty mine out after every run so im no help there but from my experience its still pretty hands off, grantee this is my first ai vacuum cleaner dont have any reference to go off but yeah its pretty low maintenance at least to me
