@3kliksphilip The update for CSS made it Orange box engine, right? This means we should be able to use func_reflective_glass (and other OB entities), which in my opinion, could be VERY interesting.

Another suggestion: 1. Close hammer and source sdk 2. Open source sdk 3. Refresh sdk content Worked for me.

@AeeromaaX Actually win7 is no faster than xp, they're pretty much the same it seems to me, in terms of speed. And yes, i own win7, running a dual boot with xp as well.

Ok, I got it, thanks! Now I have 1 more thing I need, I got 4 boxes. the top 2 are cameras, the bottum left is front and the bottum right is side. Do you have an idea how to make the top left one a "TOP" box?

I have been working on a mod, and hammer acts strange for me. Everything is outlined in black, and i can only see textures in the 3D camera box, none of my grids appear, neither do brushes in any of my 2D windows, do you know of any ways to fix this?

@z0mgzt0m tickrate 100 is a complete waste of resources. i'm sick of joining servers that try and work around it and ends up getting severe lag spikes with 16 players when 66 tick is more than enough. do you think they just disabled the parameter for shits and giggles? there's a good reason behind it.

I've just bought Portal, but when i go into Source SDK it doesn't show up in the list.. I have tried pressing the "Refresh sdk content" button. That didn't work so i reinstalled the whole thing, but that didn't work either! So i don't know what to do now. Any suggestions?

@Denida12131 i don't personally have fps problems (thanks i7) so i was not aware of that. Seems to me that updates should decrease the computer resource load, however it is a 6 year old game, and computers have gotten a lot stronger..

@3kliksphilip Seems like he doesn't know, that Different OS' run differently on different setup. A Computer that can barely run WinXP, can in no case run Win7 64 bit.

@3kliksphilip At first it didn't work because I was under the 2006 Engine Version (where only about 4 games showed up in all the engine versions, and not all were working), but once I went to the 2009 version Counter Strike and all the other games showed up, and all of the game versions of Hammer are now working.

Does anyone have a problem when they load hammer that when you try to make a new file or open an existing one is states you don't have the materials?? Me and my friend tried this and we both got the same error message, this was on the day of the new css update.

Can some one help me? When i start my hammer editor for Css Mapping it comes a window wich says: Missing material 'editor/wireframe'. Go to Tools I Options I Game Configurations and verify that yor game directory is correct. I checked it and its all normal. IF i hit the "Ok" button this window comes 3 times again and after the 3rd time Hammer Editor shutted down. (WTF?) It is since the new update comes out :(. Can someone help me plz? thx and sry for bad englisch

@3kliksphilip well most 100tick servers never reached 100 most of the time but id rather have a 100tick server that could only reach 80-90 than a constant 66 tick :P i hope steam irons out the bugs and glitches for the new css because the reg is poo in mixes :S
