Thank you, I already read some of the 3M VHB tape's catalogue, I can't find VHB tapes have a thickness 0.2 mm. My interest is to find the thinest adhesive which can high stand dynamic stress for example wind loading and vehicle vibration.

Thank you for early response. We are conducting research based on the mechanics of adhesive bonding between aluminum to aluminum. Where the major application widely used in automotive and aircraft industry. The application uses where high dynamic stresses are involved. Bonding substrates between Aluminum to Aluminum, the samples will be tested under static loading and fatigue loading.

I already go through 3M VHB catalogue. The suitable candidate is 3M VHB 4930 and 4950 and 3M VHB RP family. Actually what is the strongest 3M HVB adhesive to bonding aluminum to aluminum.

Can 3M VHB withstand high temperatures? Like 70 degrres? Is for a outdoor new product, which is glass bonded to plastic.

Hi MJ, This is a general video about 3M VHB tapes. We do have over 60 VHB tapes in our range and any of the tapes which range from 0.2mm to 3.0mm in thickness should pass the same test.
