The only reason the chair thing failed immediately is because nano-tape is designed to stick to things the same way geckos do, not with an adhesive, so a force like that which would cause it to start to peel instead of just sheer downwards will fail as it's really only strong against sheering forces. PS: since there is no adhesive you don't need to wait for them to "set"
@ryant1626
@ryant1626 5 жыл бұрын
Should put two or 3 strips per brick. Basically cover the surfaces in the tape. That will give maximum hold. With the chair, what failed was that where you put the tape was round, so only a tiny bit of the chair and tape was in contact with the wall. If you found or made a chair out of square stock metal, I bet it would work

I've had the issue where they crawl out of the garage, make their way across the kitchen and to my room, crawl under my bed, then wake me up with their chirping and they will not stop until you find them and "get" them. It can take up to an hour to find them because their chirping echoes across the whole first floor, making it sound like they're coming from everywhere. I can't stand crickets.😢
