Yes, me too - wanting to comment now because I was laughing and crying listening to this. The state oriented aspect of understanding makes my mind explode - understanding understanding - this meta level can sound absolutely stupid and then suddenly it's literally the only way to understand anything. When I think I understand something, I get so arrogant (then Iooked up arrogant because I couldn't spell it right - Wow did that fly in the face of my arrogance - here's my favorite definition that I found.) "Arrogant- unpleasantly proud and behaving as if you are more important than, or know more than, other people." This is me. And what we are saying here is that everybody knows this. Everybody. I get so caught up in the thought that I have to know more than someone else to help them, when it's going badly. When it's going well, it's always about pointing out that it's already there, understanding or whatever

Is it false modesty for teachers of the Principles to profess that they know so little? If this is true, then with all due respect, why are we paying to go to workshops led by such teachers? I'm not trying to be snarky---I'm just trying to understand.

Debra Share // It's a very funny and strange thing about the Principles in that the more "intellectually confident" we are about them, the more we're looking in the wrong direction, and the less we are tapping into the infinite resources of the deeper intelligence behind life that guides us. Anyone who gains insight into this understanding, will over time, begin to notice the subtle (and previously unnoticed not-so-subtle) differences in feeling and thought, between being in their head (in their personal made up thinking) and being in their heart (connected to the deeper and infinite wisdom of life that the Principles point to). And so it will not be uncommon to hear some 3P practitioners talk about "being in a place or a feeling of not knowing" as the best place to listen from and the best place to share from. This can seem completely counterintuitive in the "intellectual content-based" world we live in where we think that more information and more experience is what makes us more wise. Instead, what the Principles understanding helps people see is that intelligence (ie, knowing more info., having a keen or quick mind) is not where true wisdom comes from. Instead it is already innate and infinitely available, and we can gain insights into the differences of feeling when we're closer to it or further away. As an example, we can see incredible wisdom in very young children who mostly live in a space of not knowing, and yet they often exude great kindness, joy, curiosity, love, non-judgment, lack of ego, etc.

You should all read the Bible if you want to know the real truth and not this new age bulshit

@ This is not excluding the bible. On the contrary the views can enhance your religion for you. Not dividing belief into separate gods, looking away from us humans trying to put hierarchy and personal power over others into the mix. We are all one made of some sort of "universal power" which is exactly what religions are trying to point at. But the message is often over complicated. 🌷 Noone is better than another, is also taught by this, which is a flaw of many religious, thinking "my religion is better than yours". Watch sidney Banks videos, he is behind the three principles and explains it perfectly. We are all equal in the universal power, no need to think your bible is better. Happy journey 🌷

@debra I would say absolutely not. They on the contrary claim how we all know everything we need to know, but we're not aware of it. And there are so many ways to share these "understandings" which mean everyone can learn from everyone. Because we are human. We are not separated by gender, "race", education etc. No hierarchy. So if they claimed to know more that would negate the whole "concept". 🌷
