I am currently in the process of writing an Achievement guide for this game, and when I write guides, I 100% them at the same time. Impossible Mode is very intimidating to me. I cannot believe, as someone who has never played this game or the OG version before, you'd jump into Impossible Mode as your very first run. Absolutely crazy, but also very inspiring. You sir, are very much a true Trophy Hunter, and I salute you.

Here are some tips for anyone wanting to do impossible or just for the game in general: - The flying necros create more necropmorphs. They can’t create them when bodies don’t have limbs, so stomp dead bodies until they don’t have limbs, then the flying necro can’t create more enemies to fight - throughout the levels are things that look like lamps emitting blue light. These are stasis bombs, throw them at enemies for free stasis that lasts longer than regular stasis - in some levels are shelves with glowing pointers and on the walls are pipes that glow blue on both ends. Melee them and use them with your kinesis for weapons - make sure you stay dynamic, don’t stand around in big rooms but run, you can also run towards necros while shooting them, helps with the pincer attach - you can also melee the vents where the necros come out from for a free Blade - focus on using fewer weapons that you can upgrade instead of using all 4 weapon slots with fewer upgrades. The more weapons you carry, the thinner spread out your ammo will be. Make sure to put any weapons you don’t use in Storage - when you upgrade hp on your suit on the bench, don’t heal before that because the bench will heal you for free. Same with weapons: don’t reload before upgrading on the bench the bench will refil your ammo Good luck with this awesome game ❤

I know this comment is old but theres a youtuber names optinoob. He makes platinum guides and one of them is "dead space remake impossible mode no damage" you can follow it without doing the no damage part unless you want the challenge.

I also did the plasma cutter impossible run. Got it first try no doubt because I had experience with original game. If u just mainly stick to stasis stomps and kinesis you should come out with roughly 200 plasma cutter ammo by the end of first trip to medical.

I'm honest, in the beginning of the video i really thought you would throw it because of the many struggles It's so much harder to do the impossible difficulty on your first run when you don't know the spawns or the levels well enough and are not used to the mechanics as well as you would be on the second or third run But in the end you made it and it motivated me to do so too

I haven't started my impossible run yet, but I'm doing a New Game + run on Hard Mode using just the Plasma Cutter. To conserve my ammo, I've just been using stasis, punching enemies to knock them down thanks to that upgrade to the suit, and just stomping them. I'd actually say I'm rarely using the gun and I have so much ammo it's hilarious, this entire run has just been hugely funny to me and I've yet to die halfway through.

I'll most likely buy this game as soon as it drops in price/ I can spend some money. I never played the original one, but I did complete Dead Space 2, both on Zealot and Hardcore (If I'm not mistaken I only died once). How much tougher is this on Impossible + Plasma Cutter only? I remember in DS2 Hardcore I mainly used the Plasma Cutter, the Ripper and sometimes the Mine gun. Congrats for your Platinum by the way :)

I had to cheese near the end. I got into the cargo bay and not a single enemy does ammo of any kind. Then i watched the replay and all the ammo fell through the floor as soon as it dropped. Quitting and loading did nothing. So i cheese the line racks at the bench until I had a reasonable amount of ammo, like the amount I should have had if the game didn't hate me

NG+ and Impossible can’t be done at the same time because you can only do NG+ on impossible if you did impossible already. Either way, the plasma cutter is the best weapon so it’s okay!

It's too late but if you return to Main Menu before you die it goes back to your last save point... It doesn't revert you to Hard and you don't have to start from the beginning of the game

I played hard first time through to get a feel for it and start to learn spawns with only the plasma cutter. Then played new game plus to finish the rest of the trophies and alt ending. Then started impossible played it with plasma cutter only and it was a cake walk.

Nope. if you don’t do impossible first, then you have to do 3 playthroughs because NG+ on impossible is not an option until you beat a normal save fight on impossible

idk why your not using the claws-limbs from the enemies as well so much wasted amo lol , also take the plastic white bottle and use the line gun on each end now you have a light saber in your hands with kenisis

I picked up every weapon along the way. You get the trophy as long as you don’t fire any other weapons. In that clip, I believe the ripper was in my inventory

They actually use “nodes” which are found around the map. I sold a lot of stuff to buy extra nodes as well as soon as I could. I can’t die if I beat the enemies first!!!! Lol

You’re lucky you don’t get through 75% of the game twice on impossible difficulty only for the game to break on you and you have to restart all over again. Because. Thankfully I got through it the third time with no bugs.

i would not do this on impossible the first playthrough. instead i needed 3x just to make sure you know the game again and where the hardest enemies spawn, how it was in 2008. you never played it before how come ? this basically is not 1 playthrough. if i were you i would definetely used the glitch. pause when you die and go back to the menu and load/continue your save again.
