Most of you probably didn't notice since you don't watch the shows that Chris does but there's three very meaningful Anime references in his verse "imma break all my limits, it's my ultra instinct" : This refers to Goku's strongest power-up in Dragon Ball, Ultra Instinct. It basically helps Goku break past all his limits to reach his maximum potential. "but on the brink of death, I go Super Saiyan" : This is another reference to a power-up of Goku from Dragon Ball. In Dragon Ball, whenever a Saiyan (Goku's race) gets close to death he powers up even more and comes back stronger than ever. Super Saiyan is a legendary power up which gives a Saiyan access to his true strength "as the captain that I am now, I'll take my team across the grand line" : This is a reference to One Piece. In One Piece, the main character Luffy is the captain of his own crew and the entire team's main goal is to journey across the grand line (a fictional point in the sea) and achieve their dreams. Luffy's aim is to become the king of all pirates by finding the hidden treasure One Piece across the grand line. I felt like he put a lot of thought into these and they're really very meaningful references as they pull out his feelings towards his upcoming long journey with 3RACHA and Stray Kids perfectly Chan truly is a genius.

When Stray Kids debuted and I decided to stan, they were the first EVER group that made me be bias wrecked. (4 times to be exact). I am a multi fandom which means I stan a lot of groups, and when I started stanning Stray Kids I was more happier and inspired to keep going. Now they are my favorite group and glued to that spot. Skz, especially 3Racha has ment so much to since before they debuted. They helped me get out of such a dark place. This song has such a bittersweet feeling to it, both in its sound and its lyrics. I'm gonna be graduating high school in a few months so the lyrics hit particularly hard for me at this point in my life. It's the feeling of HATING high school and being so relieved to finally graduate and start the next chapter of my life, but also the bittersweet feeling of knowing that this means I'm leaving my childhood behind for good now. I hate my hometown, but I'll miss my neighborhood and lifelong home and all of the memories I've made here. And I hate school, but I will miss the good memories I shared with my one or two friends (especially talking about kpop with my closest friend at lunch and sometimes when we're supposed to be working lol). Many people your age feel like that and luckily that panic about the future disappears as you grow older (at least for most people). So please don't give up!💪 I know many people act like they already know what they're going to do and act like they have it all together and stuff, but most people are just trying to look confident. Also many times people just change those plans anyways. For example some of my friends "knew" what they wanted to do for years. But they changed their major anyways because they found out they didn't like it while studying. I went from listening to this as a freshmen in high school, to listening to this on the day of my graduation. It was utterly terrifying. Ive always been so scared of leaving this part of my life behind. I had a few panic attacks leading up to the day and almost had a few during the ceremony. Looking back, it was nothing to be afraid of. I still feel like the same kid I did before but with a some new freedoms. So to any Stays who are like me and are petrified of graduating, it will be okay :) Your journey so far in life has been planned out for you and I understand very well that losing that sense of guidance is extremely frightening. As someone who has made it through to the other side with Stray Kids to guide me, I can assure you that life feels so much freer after graduation. All those things you dare to dream can happen. That inner child that you dont want to die as you become an adult can stay inside of you. You can break your limits and barriers. If no one else, I for one, believe in you. Stay strong guys, it gets better.
