is the 4 runner stock? did you upgrade to lockers or something? did you make all the driving at 4L with center diff activated?

In this video the 4 runner was stock no lift and factory size tires This model did come with a factory rear locker Also the 4Runner is no locked in the front with 3 inch lift and 33s in a few weeks I will be posting a hard core wheeling video!

@fernandoban5050 the 97-99 had rear locker after that it’s only a center lock I had an 01 for parts it had the cent lock and didn’t work very well

@@Rubiconromp i am planning on getting one, and do some light offroading , nothing tough like rock crawiling etc, just “normal” stuff and going to the beach. any model should work right?, with the center or rear locker, what you guys did in the video is to much for my plans haha, just wanna do some overlanding with my kids

@fernandoban5050 yes center lock and a winch you will be fine even just 4wd and a winch! I push mine this new video will be mind blowing how my brother pathfinder followed us

If I wanted to watch a rubicon video, I’d have an alarmingly large collection of rubber duckies, a desperate need for community and a tendency to be susceptible to image-based marketing campaigns. The CJ’s, VJ’s and SJ’s were awesome but everything since is a Chrysler in drag(which probably explains their popularity these days). Just like the H2 and H3 were are Chevys that got to pretend they had roots as military vehicles. I will say jeep reigns supreme in one area. Off road aftermarket accessories availability. Luckily for us Yota guys, minimal mods are needed to be more than capable. Or should I say more capable than…Happy & safe wheeling, rubber duckers!

@@Rubiconromp the side decals and the front end look a little different than my 2001 4Runner (of course that’s like the last year of the 3rd gen and didn’t have the side decals…then again that is a customized 4Runner…but the front end still looks like a 2nd gen…it’s not really a big deal and I’m possibly mistaken but it did quite well not many issues at all and I did enjoy the video

@@blakelynch40000-02 had a facelift and a more pronounced bumper. This is absolutely not a second gen. It’s a 96-99 runner. You can tell by the lift gate, (2nd gen has a fold down truck bed) also much bigger.
