3rd Gen Camaro Engine Removal.

I remove the SBC from my 1988 Camaro. This has to be the dirtiest engine I've ever pulled. Its leaking from every gasket and is making a suspicions noise! So best thing to do is pull it and tear it down for a rebuild. Is it a 305 or 350?

It’s not a bad process, the worst part is the torque arm. You got it buddy. Hopefully your engine crane has a longer reach than mine lol

As of first watching your video, if that is the factory engine that is a 305, being a 88 the 350 would have been tune ported and the 305's could have been tune port or tbi like this one looks like via the air cleaner.. Now I will watch the video to the end and see what you find out!

Very entertaining video. I have an ‘83 Berlinetta that I bought for my son, I also bought an ‘02 Tahoe with a 6litre that we’re going to swap in it. The price of a 3rd gen Camaro is getting up there bro

Nope, I did sell the shell to someone who had plans for it. The engine was trash.

Hey man I’m doing the same to my 88 fb it’s got the 2.8 v6 Not sure what I want to put in yet Somthing I don’t have to do major mods to chassis Just slap in and go Any ideas

Find you a good 305 or 350 with a 700r4 or 5 speed. It will drop right in and you’re good! Depending on your budget you could ls swap it but to do it right will cost some coin.
