Today I’ll be replacing some front and rear suspension bushings, follow along as I cut and torch my way around this 2000 Toyota 4Runner!

Doing gods work for the THIRD GEN BEST GEN folks. Couple dumb questions: Did you ever get an OBDII tool and run your codes? A vid back I saw a check engine light and was wondering if you'd solved that. Second question: Does the AC work? Third and final dumb question: Have you done any further preventative stuff in terms of fluid changes? Much appreciated. I have a 4th gen but always have a soft spot for the 2002s. Very classic rides these days, simple and built to last. Phenomenal engine. It's a pig, but they'll go 500k easy if you give 'em some love. Edit: I haven't finished your video and don't know if you mention it but as a one amateur youtube wrencher to another: TORQUE SPECS. If you know 'em, share 'em. Biggest frustration I encounter. Edit 2; Oh this is the school of Just Enough Brappa. Got it ':)

@TraxNTires hello, thank you for the video! Can I ask something? I was amazed that you did not buy original Toyota parts for the suspension and I'd like to ask your opinion on this: I bought a Honda van and I was looking at the OEM suspension parts prices vs Amazon suspension parts prices, is it dangerous to use Amazon suspension parts instead of OEM? Sorry if the question sounds silly but I do not know enough about that topic to know.

I would recommend MOOG parts or something similar from your local parts store. Amazon parts are pretty cheap and with an old vehicle your not gaining much when buying OEM parts

What’s the end game for this Runner? An off-road rig, or a daily commuter?

Another fun project could be to make a prinsu style roof rack. They’re pretty easy to weld up
