Thank you for this, I've been playing at a local barcade and I really have zero idea how this stuff works! I was able to make it to Gil (with one token) once so hopefully I'll get a little better and actually beat him. Also being able to beat drunk strangers is fun. I didn't realize Chun Li was the best, I only picked her cause she was hot.

I was more of a Q player, so I only used Q to beat the game in 1 token. I kinda picked Chun Li because I heard other people in the back saying she was the best character. At the time, I only knew that Q was seen as one of the worst characters. I tried playing as Chun Li but I sucked at playing her. It took me 6 tokens to beat the game. It's weird how it took me 6 tokens to beat the game with the best character in the game, yet I flawlessly beat the game (and got to fight Q) with one of the worst characters (Q).

Recomendo pra caralho!

Thanks for making this video, it helped me get through Arcade mode. I’m not a good player when it comes to fighting games but I love everything about them still. Chun Li will always be one of my favorite video game characters and third strike is probably my favorite version of her

I'm super late to the party, but I just wanna say thank you for making these videos! Just got the game today, been playing SF5 since one month but I'm more into the old school stuff, because it reminds me of my childhood and the good old SF2 days. Today was the first time I ever played SF 3rd Strike and I just fell in love with it! It's super fluent (like SF5) but it got the old school arcade graphics which I really adore. I'm committed to learn this game and I want to become a decent fighter in the next few months. Your videos are much appreciated!

Aside from playing a little on ps2 years ago I'm really late to the party and have a noob question. On street fighter V I can perform her critical art flawlessly on my fight stick but on 3rd strike I flub it more times than I hit it. It's an identical command, what is different between the 2 games that would create a drastic difference in success rate?
@PooFaceMcButt7 жыл бұрын
More strict inputs in 3S. The only direction you can drop is the very last forward direction.
@Ziki-P7 жыл бұрын
PooFaceMcButt thanks looks like I just have to try to perfect it. Would you recommend having the stick to emulate the d pad or the left analog stick
@PooFaceMcButt7 жыл бұрын
Always dpad. Analog input emulation has always felt very wonky and slow when I've tried it. It's all digital inputs anyway.

Yun is better, because at high level, every Yun is different. There are so many ways to use Genei Jin that practice against one Yun doesn't help as much vs other Yuns as practice against one Chun Li helps vs other Chuns.
@jaykelley103 Жыл бұрын
I think both super 3 yun and super 2 makoto are better than chun on paper. It just takes so much dedication to pull that potential out of those characters that it doesnt seem that way.

While I dont like Chun-Li i disagree that EX spinning bird is extremely hard to stuff on wake-up reversal Specific normals shut it down, shoto close strong, oro crouching medium kick, a few more- just definitely needs to be meaty lol
