3RD TRIMESTER PREPARING FOR BABY // Nesting Begins! + Getting Nursery Ready For Baby Boy!

How are we only a few weeks away from the arrival of our first baby!? I have way to much to do!! So.. the nesting begins! Today we are doing a 3rd trimester preparing for baby and getting nursery ready for baby boy! I need to wash all of our baby clothing, clean up the nursery, and sterilize baby bottles. Even if you aren't having a baby right now, I hope this video gives you some extra motivation!

I loved this video!! I’m so glad you love the growth chart, I remembered you saying the nursery was jungle themed so I’m glad it fits in well! I just packed away my daughters 0-3 clothes and moved all her 3-6 into her drawers, it’s so sad how fast time goes by. Enjoy every second and every snuggle when he arrives!!!

4:10 100% my second born has SUCH sensitive skin that dreft just made him break out in severe dry patches and rashes! I just ended up switching to ECOS free & clear and that has worked wonders for us!

Congrats Sophie ! Just a precision (take it or leave it, up to you, mommy!): a mobile is to stimulate the baby. Therefore, it's not to be fixed above the crib where baby's obviously going to sleep..., despite what people - and marketing - think. Wishing you the best! :)

You could also even dedicate it to washing cleaning sponges, or delicate dishes for example. I'm sure you will find a great use for it either way :)

Using delicate bags for small baby socks is helpful so they don’t go missing in the laundry. Draft isn’t good at all. Never had good luck.

36 weeks tomorrow, and just washed baby girls clothes. I like ALL baby with stain lifters it has a scent but it’s a very light baby powder scent very pleasant.

I’ve heard the same about dreft, and that it’s terrible so I threw all my samples away 🤣. I used Noodle and Boo, and it smells so yummy and was rated as safe! I can’t wait to continue to use it on my baby clothes ❤️

I loved nesting! Even though I was huge and uncomfortable, I had boundless energy to get ready for my babies! It’s such a wonderful time! Best of luck and a word of advice? Don’t take most of it. You will know your baby better than anyone and your birth story will be yours too, not the ladies who claimed “I nearly died-oh but you will be fine!” (Patting your hand platitude to follow.) Did I just advise you? 🤪

Try to get a bottle sterilizer that is simple to use🙂. Fill up water sterilize milk bottles. Power on and done Auto cut off.👍

@@SophisticatedOrganization We use it for the whole family. You have to order through their website which isn’t the best. lol But it smells soo good and washes well too. I try to avoid the toxic ingredients more and more as I can. I was using arm and hammer. My kids never reacted to it but I notice if i try to use a product they used to be fine with, diapers, then my daughter gets a rash when she didn’t use to.

Oh wow!! I've never heard the term singlets before! I googled it and I think americans call them onesies? Possibly the same thing? But because we have a winter baby I think a lot of people got us long "sleepers". I have since ordered some basic white short sleeve and long sleeve onesies!

I always wash new clothes because of the chemicals they use from manufacturing and during shipment
