Saw you at Lineworks NW at the Norse Hall nearly a decade ago when I was 16 or so. Still have my signed copies of Riceboy and Vattu on the shelf. You talking about getting to know your characters reminds me of a forward in a Conan anthology I read in which Robert Howard talks about Conan confronting him in his mind and willing his story to be written as if Howard was his hostage. Maybe your process is similar, don't let any of your guys torment you though! Your work has inspired me in my own creative projects over the years, looking forward to finishing 3rd Voice in my late 30's, haha! Much love.

I loved hearing you talking about the landscape of webcomics back in 2006, and how the industry and the nature of the internet and the spaces available for comics have changed. I greatly appreciate the indie revolution that we have enjoyed up until this moment in comics, and I hope to see that continue in some format. I'm very excited to read 3rd Voice and see what you have developed, as a matured and developed creator.

I did a review of Vattu in March 2015, in which I estimated it would take another 6-8 years to complete. Vindication! But seriously, it's an amazing effort to keep on a project like that and stay the course. Excited for the new project!

ngl it's weird seeing you on webtoons, but I'm also an old fogey who has had a webcomic bookmark folder on my browser for 20-25 years that has subfolders with the days of the week and then another folder for comics that update irregularly (yes, I never even got into rss feeds when they got popular). And weird as it was, I'm also happy to see you there and even moreso with Iron Circus comics. You're an amazing storyteller and you have a delightful art style I don't really see the likes of anymore. Get yourself out there. Get that paycheck. You rule.

I have the same setup, one folder I check every day, one I check occasionally and one for things I've finished or I judge to be on indefinite hiatus.
