I just sent the BM300 back. I had their BM200 and it worked great. This one worked for about 5 minutes and died.

How often do you need to connect to the device to sync the historical data when in storage?

I've got no idea, but my guess is "The more accurate you want the data to be, the more often you should connect it". Personally I would think once every 10 days would be fine, but it's not something I've tested.

Will it function with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery?
@3rdpig6 ай бұрын
This is what they say, "Compatible with all 6V/12V/24V 100-2000CCA lead-acid batteries, including conventional flooded, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, gel and EFB batteries". In some of their marketing materials they also claim it's compatible with lithium batteries, but they don't go into specifics.

Two questions if you don't mind: - Is GPS based on the device or based on your phone - does it consume much or low from the battery?

I haven't tested it, but I can't imagine they'd put a location option in it to track your phone. Unfortunately right now I have no way to test it as I'm not going to be driving the vehicle I have it mounted on until after the temperatures here in the desert drop down to a reasonable level. As far as the battery usage goes, I didn't notice anything unusual while using it, but I've also got a phone with a big battery and I've got several other location apps running as well.
