sorry for my first answer, (I've just noticed I had some finger trouble on the keyboard, not making much sense, sorry about that) STORMTROOP3R, thank you for taking time to watch. As a beginner with 30'ish jumps you may make an error because your initial education is not complete. As an expert with many jumps you might make an error because of, an illusion of knowledge or arrogance, may stop you from seeking recurrent training/ deliberating practice, etc. So stay curious. @@thomson1963 Good old Frank Zappa, he'll never let you down, the man had a witty remark for every situation. Loving the videos, they're just what I've been looking for. Not only explains how, but why, which makes things much easier to understand and remember. You're the perfect teacher for something like this, the mind of an engineer, the heart of a care giver, and the attitude of an adrenaline junkie haha

Would love a video on the new equipment/ containers we are seeing. Also what it would take for manufacturers to mass produce containers for the big people. IE- >270lbs 6’2”

So i love your videos one big question i had my first reserve ride on my 27 jump and needed to buy new handles (I learned my lesson). So what cant the handles be more universal and you just cut the cable to the right length of the rig..it took 6 weeks to get new ones

Thank you Mason Shannon, I’m glad you enjoy the videos. Some manufacturers do supply the Cutaway handel with the yellow cable at the longest length for the largest harness they produce, along with publishing instructions on how to cut the cable to the appropriate lengths. It’s not unusual for the instructions to be misinterpreted or misunderstood. It can get tricky, especially when there are compressible housings involves. I keep a record of the length of cables for Cutaway&Ripcord of all equipment I work on, so if a handle is lost, I can get the appropriate replacement handle prepared and sent off asap.

@@thomson1963 thats awesome for your clients! Not a long wait then. We had to wait for icon to make it.. I asked my rigor if we could cut our own. he said no we have to buy it from the company so it's the right fit for the harness.. would you be interested in making a video for measuring and cutting your own cables? Or should that only be done by a rigor

someone jumped my malfunction for me.we switched school rental rigs at the last moment..i think the parachute club may have intentionally had long control lines so student brake inputs werent so fierce.anyway,it had a line over
