Excellent video, just what I needed. If you ever get the chance can you do a video on fitting the suspension lowering kit that Beta supplies.

Good Morning! Glad this helped and YES I have a brand new Beta XTrainer that just sold yesterday that we will be lowering. Not the same model as yours but we will film it! Thanks for watching and enjoy the ride, Jared

I had my 21 200 RR forks revalved, the tuner found that my springs were too long contributing to a harsh feel in small stuff. There was 13mm of spring preload, so the spring perches on both forks were turned down on his lathe 9 mm to achieve 4 mm (suggested std) of preload. I enjoyed your video as I have in the past but noticed no mention of preload on the forks. That change as well as softening up the mid valve shimming mad a world of difference.

Hey Bruce, great comment and thanks for the heads up. Glad to have you share your Beta experience, our goal is to help the Beta community! I remember us talking about that awhile back... I try to be super up front and I really don't mess with suspension enough to know how to turn them down. Hopefully your experience can help save someone else feeling the same thing! Enjoy the ride, Jared

Hi, do you have a video somewhere on how to change the oil in a ZF.

Hello is this the same process as the bigger 2 stokes ? Thanks

I took my 21 500 RRS silencer apart and cut it down 4in and put it back together ....sounds better pulls harder and a little lighter. we cut 4 in out of the spark arrester and tig welded it back together so it remains forest approved.

Heck yea, that is a great idea! We do that on every one of our 2-stroke race bikes. Thanks for watching our channel and enjoy the ride, Jared

If I buy Fork Springs and shock spring and get them from y'all, do I need to add the fork tool or is that something y'all throw in?

If I replace the rear spring on my beta 500 do I need to do the front
@mk3driftmotion4 ай бұрын
I am looking at a 2024 390 RS, and I am 300lbs. Would the stock springs be totally insufficient for just fun trail riding with only very small jumps and whoops? Their replacement spring rate chart stops at 250lbs.
@LisaNelson-si9jl11 күн бұрын
Purchased a 24 390rr and I weight 260. Stock springs have worked just fine for casual trail riding. Just working on compression and rebound.

@@LisaNelson-si9jl I actually ended up getting their heaviest spring option for front and rear, I think it was for 275-285lbs. Couldn't be happier! I adjusted the sag all the way in the back with the xtrig adjuster, and I put the fork at the 3rd line down, works great for all types of riding, and its not too tall for more technical trails. Doesn't bottom out, and it's not constantly dropping way down in the travel like stock. Its more plush with the heavier springs, and it resists bottoming out much better.

@@3SeasRecreation Hi, what is the thread size of the ZF 2023?
@evr-mr3cp2 жыл бұрын
Not a big fan of the separate function fork; been there on a Husqvarna. If I purchase a Beta it would definitely been the RE with KYB stuff.
