stop comparing them to other bands. they're awesome and i'm glad to see new ppl doing industrial metal. we have enough shit out there so we should support more bands like 3teeth

"Stop doing what you're doing and do what I want you to do, which is follow a band that wants no followers and see them the way I see them. Individualism is overrated."
@redprince94 жыл бұрын
i agree with most of your statement, but not the comparing thing, as it is inevitable and is often the only way many people are able to describe something they like. i mean, trust me, as a musician i totally get the entire pov about being compared to other bands being annoying or seemingly degrading of the artists work when a musician is working on making their own name for themselves and attempting to stand out with their own vision, but on the flip side often with new music many people need a reference point for accessibility or to be able to relate on a sonic level, and when they hear new stuff that they like instead of going into a detailed analysis of every part they like they instead link those qualities to something else similar.

This is how I've felt since the late 80s when I was watching bands like Ministry and KMFDM at a dance club in Seattle, Washington called "The Oz." Like, my personal favorite type of music is so underrepresented and I wish I was a billionaire so I could afford to finance bands like this that won't ever have enough fans to be super-successful commercially.

Don't get me wrong, I love this song and I'm starting to get into this band, but I can't get over how the lead singer looks like Dr. Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. I'm crying.

*Scene* walking across a frozen bridge to the venue to see tool in Nashville. The dose is kicking in. After much confusion, seats are finally found. Look to stage to see 3 teeth playing. Riding the dose as they play NIHIL. Uncomfortable confusion that I love sets in. Been listening to you guys since! A great addition to my first tool show.

LOL Manson and Rammstein, seriously? I swear kids today just hear that crap left over from Manson and assume all "Industrial" sounds like this. Rammstein are carbon basement quality ripp-offs of Die Krupps but shitter, and the less about Manson the better I agree with the dude above, I hear more KMFDM in this than I do plastic princess MTV idols crud like Manson and Rammstein.
