Hi Paul Couple give you a bit of a fight, learnt a lot on how you work through different options. great video mate

Chris Osborn yes but that’s real life. Doesn’t matter how proficient you are some locks will put up a fight. The poorer the quality typically the harder they are to pick as tolerances are bad. Also as there appears to be an equal amount of lows to highs based on way levers are made they add a tad of awkwardness. Now I know that, next time I will know how to work it. Thanks for the view and comments as always

Great video 👌 I wonder if the GJ strongbolt decoder will work with these, I suppose I'll order a few and give it a go

Ariel currently at the min I have tried it with the man himself. The levers do read but may need a different chart. So hang fire and hopefully I can let you know soon. Thanks for the view and time to comment.

Great video once again.. As someone who new to Lever locks would you recommend any picking kit for a newbie? Thanks
@LocksintheCityLtd4 жыл бұрын
hobbo2404 plenty of kits out there and many different opinions. Personally I use the GJ kit. As it’s versatile and I only have to carry one case. Prior to GJ’s I was using the 1st call multi-guage which worked fine. As well as owing a CB RPCP. Though both did have its limitations. I’d suggest going to the expos and trying different ones to find what you like. With the GJ I can pick lever padlocks, non-curtained Locks, 2 &3 lever locks, vectis, 110 with standard tips as well as dedicated tip to allow compression of the pack. Thanks for the view and the positive comments.

Man that looked like a pain pal. Considering you said it may be used for training it put up one hell of a fight. Still picked fast And I enjoyed watching your skill take over with the concentration. Is this a new MaXus lever lock as I have never seen one before. Great picking buddy

The second one I opened, went quick. Third one was prob most awkward. I don’t train with just easy locks. As people leave with a false sense of achievement. So have a scale of easy through to hard. As if someone picks up the skill quickly they can step up to next level. Thanks as always for the view and comments👍🏻

@@LocksintheCityLtd I seen the second one 2 pal, and that's very true theres no point training with locks that fall open. Great video 👍

2nd lock. Off camera. He’s had a good chance to look at the keys. When he said he was going to leave the keys in the box.

Feel free to send same locks brand new in packaging but remove the keys yourself prior to sending. Tape package up and mark it. Then I’ll open packaging and locks and pick them if your that sure I needed to see keys to pick them open. Always one who can’t help them self, then be critical or doubtful about others abilities.

The vice is made by a company called Panavise in America. Can be found on eBay and Amazon.
