- Note: Management of this building was transferred to Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in 2023, resulting in it getting rebranded as Millennium Plaza Downtown Dubai. However, as the Crowne Plaza brand was still in use when this was filmed, the old name will be used to refer to videos from this location taken in 2022.
These elevators served the hotel building's second-floor lobby, ancillary facilities on floors 3 and 4, and all of the guest rooms on floors 5-18, but did not provide access to the street level. These belonged to MPVF, the higher-speed variant of SPVF which was Mitsubishi's very first overseas model to use inverters, that in turn was based on the traction version of Elepet Advance V series for the Japanese domestic market. Unlike the lone shuttle elevator, they had black square buttons on the COP that were used in some of previous-generation ACVV models but had been adopted as standard fixtures in SPVF, and the call buttons were also of the newer type without illuminating edges. The floor indicators were still of the older 8-segment kind also found in 1980s DC-motor installations, however. Their cabs were at least larger (though still smaller compared to nearby newer hotels of similar caliber), and had interiors more befitting a flagship business hotel, with marble and ceramic flooring and walls finished with cherry wood. While they ran at an alright speed for the amount of floors, their ride quality was quite bad with constant vibrations (which is one issue with helical-geared machines, which is used by MPVF models unlike worm-geared machines for SPVF). They were also showing their age with floor buttons that barely lit up when pressed to one segment of the floor indicator that did not work in the first car featured in the video, which somehow happened to be the bottom-left one that distinguished numbers "5" with "6" and "8" with "9" and thus could have confused many users.

If you listen closely, you'll hear a faint mechanical bell around 1:12, probably from some other car. It seemed that not all of the cars had working chimes.
