I think the item that lets you gather all materials towards you in any map would be perfect for this character, seeing how much materials gets scattered everywhere

I think the "double dip" is intentional. because the 50% reduce damage bullet is a property of the bullet split because even though the number is lower you have 3 so it's still a 50% damage increase overall (3 bullets each dealing 50%) without also the damage % factoring in.

I’ve been studying your videos for awhile After a run, I noticed you recycle some good items from you loot crates. For example land mines. IMO that sounds like a good item to pickup, because it’s free. But now that I’m playing Hades I’ve learned that has you chose items the random generator narrows things down. Is that what’s going one here, or am I just not getting your strategy

Shops number 1-3 have 2 guaranteed weapons and 2 guaranteed passive items. I lock two items because it literally can't impact my ability to reroll into weapons. I've explained this a ton.

The damage down isn't exactly double dipping. The weapons damage is calculated normally and then at the very end is cut in half. Which is outside the normal damage systems in the game. It is possible to get it green, but you'd have to get rid of the -35% from ricochet, and get enough flat ranged damage to exceed twice the weapons normal starting value.
