@bear0134 I'm a free to play player. I have several of the meta robots built from parts. Sure, I had to wait a bit. Sure, it took time, but you can get them if you're patient. Also, you don't need to max out your robots if you have developed some skill at the game. I don't place in the top 3 every game, but I do it often enough, and this is using lv9 robots and weapons which is easily achievable in a short time frame. I also play in the lowest level of the champion league. Then, there is plenty of daily gold and silver available for watching a few minutes of ads. Heck, you can run those ads while you're doing something else. Take advantage of the offers while multitasking. No one says you have to spend the money.

nowadays people use gust and halo only with overdrives. because maxed halo or gust do only 120,000 damage and start reloading but with overdrives it output 200,000 damge in 1.5 seconds

That's no luck. (mostly) I really had no luck in the arena, but still got the Stellar Phantom. And I had only 2 days to make it, cause I have lots of work to do. It's all about timing. Good prices mean many unexperienced players. But only in the first few days. Afterwards it's nearly impossiple to achive this price. This kind of Event will maybe return. If you use the first days, you can really make it.
