I love Hook even with the possibility of losing Emma he was still willing to do the right thing. Hook has honor and that's why I love him because despite the risk to his happiness he made the right decision. I think this is the moment that Emma saw his heart. He not only saved her father but Neal as well. Emma told Hook once "that she couldn't risk being wrong about him" I think he just confirmed that she can trust him an her instincts were right about him all along. A very significant moment for CS....

I agree with you guys, Emma is starting to TRUST Hook because when Snow says that Neal is alive, Emma looks to Hook first and THAT'S WHEN she believes it's true. Even when she was suspicious about it. This is HUGE, Hook helps Emma to BELIEVE like true love does! oh, love! LOL

I love the fact he told first to David and Snow because he don't want to keep it but he's not sure about the trust and don't want to hurt her

I love how Hook first tells Snow and David about Neal because he isn’t sure if it’s true and he doesn’t want to cause Emma any more pain

True love is putting the other first; doing whatever you need to do to ensure the well-being and happiness of your beloved; being willing to sacrifice your own happiness for the one you love. THIS was true love if I ever saw it. Coming from Hook, who has spent hundreds of years living for himself and not caring how his actions affected others, this is HUGE.

Hahahahahaha I just realized something which made me laugh hysterically so David Figured out hook came for Emma to Neverland he did the whole protective daddy thing of telling hook to stay away from Emma But can't figure out why Pan told Hook Neal was alive !!! Like REALLY DAVID .. HELLO SMART ONE YOU figured pretty easily why he came to the island but you cant figure out why PAN told HOOK about NEal Let me give you a clue it begins and ends with EMMA , THE REASON IT MATTERS SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER TO YOU Hook IS FALLING FOR EMMA , Like DID SOMEONE GET YOU DRUNK so you Wouldn't notice what was happening right in front of your eyes !!!

i love how emma instinctively looked at hook for conformation that what they told her had been true she did not look at her dad or mom or any one she looked at hook the second before that left her mouth

Out of nostalgia I'm looking at many clips and I'm VERY close to rewatching the show bcs I love CS but aside from that- is it just me, or when David said "sometimes secrets protect the people we love"... he may have meant the dreamshade as his "secret" at that moment but atp Snow didn't know about that, so maybe she conceded with him bcs she remembered what they did to Maleficent's egg and that was their darkest secret? But then it was like she didn't want any of that again so she right out told Emma about Neal, not wanting to have a slight chance to disappoint her if truth came out. Like this is the writers foreshadowing a secret with no one noticing?? Maybe I'm looking too deep into it but if that's true- goddamn that was a good one.
