This is a great breakdown and definitely taught me a lot of things to improve my game as a 3.5 newish player. Also definitely agree with other comments about toning down the music and letting the point play out then going back and analyzing it.

Great analysis - good mix of positive reinforcement and areas to work on for your players. Subbed. Also really enjoyed the video of your match vs Tanner. Giveaway: was trying to think of a witty comment then Jake from State Farm called and said "Bundle it" send me the CRBN 3x AND the CRBN prototype in the video!😂🙃🤣 I dunno Jake, might be sticking with Allstate on this one. Looking forward to your next video.

I have been looking for more of this type of content!! It’s so good. Love the detailed nitty gritty about court positioning and shot selection in particular

@@allmikepickleballalso wanted to add since I saw other people’s feedback - I thought the pausing was great. I wouldn’t mind even more pausing and breakdowns of short selection and getting into the nitty gritty details.

It's pretty rough to make a 4.0 gold medal game and have the question be if you can call yourself a 4.0. Is it asking about age-neutral 4.0, and discounting their rating because they're older? It's a legitimate question since the tourneys are age-distinct. Otherwise, by making a gold medal game, the question should be if they are at the next level, so are they 4.5. I also agree with the other comments that the breakdowns would be more valuable if we saw the whole point first, then you go back and analyze. For some of these, it seems like we don't even see the part of the point discussed, just hear something about it (as if we saw it) and then there's a review of it happening.

Interesting perspective. I think just because someone is in a 4.0 gold medal match in a tournament doesn’t make them a 4.0. This tournament could have only 3-4 teams playing it, could be a non DUPR rated tournament for charity, there are lots of other possibilities for this tournament not to be the traditional 4.0 level. I really appreciate your feedback on the breakdowns and it is noted for my next videos. Thank you for watching 🙌🏼

This is a good review, I'll sub. You don't need the music, I found it a little distracting. Some of the clips were a little too short to understand your message without replaying.

Love the analysis, but you pause too much the video for my taste, would be better to let the point run on screen, and comment, just too fragmented.

Nice breakdown. I subscribed. I'm legit 59 year old 4.0-4.5. These guys need to develop topspin forehand drives at baseline and short returns and rolls up at the net. No offense to them, but they would get schooled at our courts if they played against our 4.0s.
@allmikepickleball2 ай бұрын
I agree about the topspin, I’ve coached over 1000 students and some people get topspin naturally without a tennis background, other people seriously struggle with it. Thanks for the Sub Charles!
