My friends in Fulton, MO of Callaway County were mostly staff and students from Missouri School for the Deaf and everyone who was deaf since I graduated from Missouri School for the Deaf in 2016. Almost eight years later, I finally planned the storm chase to get to Fulton to visit my old friend's farmhouse stand take records in Carrington Baptist Church near the southwest of Fulton. A development supercell developed west of Jefferson City, spit a weak wall cloud, and dangerous lightning passed through the Carrington area into Fulton, resulting in an upgraded Enhanced Risk. I chased down there because I was too close, but the supercell was dangerous and produced large hail across the south of us. I'm glad we didn't get any hail here. With this massive supercell, the NWS Saint Louis had issued a Tornado Warning just east of Jefferson City. Law enforcement reported golf ball-sized hail and power outages. During the night, we sat in front of the garden watching the epic lightning storm on tape.
