I love your idea of doing floor to ceiling drapes across the wall in your bedroom. I think it would soften the room & make it even cozier! We are all always our worse critics. Remember just because we keep telling ourselves, the story of we’re not enough, doesn’t mean it’s real. Beliefs are just thoughts we keep thinking, so because we have the ability to change our thoughts, we have the ability to change our beliefs. Start telling yourself a different story like “things are always working out for me” & “I get so much accomplished every day”, & so on. It’s amazing how changing our beliefs can make such a huge difference in how we see & therefore attract our life experiences. You are doing great, Jeffrey, but me telling you that won’t make a difference. You have to tell yourself the same thing & believe it for you to start feeling better. I have always wanted a Murphy bed living in FL. Otherwise your guest rooms are eaten up by a bed that takes up so much space that you want to use for other things! I also always wanted a house built with a large enough room for a laundry/ play room/craft room! Why aren’t there more WOMEN builders?😄

A great paint tray tip when you’re in a pinch w no trays left…place the tray inside a kitchen trash bag, w the opening towards you. Just tuck the excess under the tray. When you’re all finished literally remove the bag going inside out! Bags up all the mess and throw right in the garbage. Might be a tad easier than trying to peel paint out of your tray and getting small paint chip debris in your new paint 😊

It's really looking amazing. The colors on the walls are truly perfect! I was on the fence thinking they might be too bright, but they toned down a bit after drying completely and adding your furniture. Painting the console table black will really make your 🦩🦩 collection pop! Slow down, find a massage therapist, and if not a complete massage, get the chair type where they just do your neck and back. Some days, you may only have 50% in you to do things, and that's perfectly fine. It's not like you have a looming timeline to meet. You have already done way more than a lot of people could do in the same amount of time. It's going to be gorgeous when you are done!

Yes! I am so glad you are getting a different table for your Flamingos. You have gotten so many more great flamingos, they need a little space and that space needs it too. I bet tne black Table works best too. Remember you've inhaled a lot of dust, paint, and different barometric pressure from living near the ocean to. Lots of change and all the decisions you've made in a short time. Give it a little bit more time.

I think its easy to get burned out when moving/remodeling and basically starting part of your life over. I know I got a bit overwhelmed a year ago when I moved and started part of my life over. I did it all by myself for the most part. Give yourself grace and credit Jeffrey you really are doing a spectacularly from my view from the outside looking in. I think a lot of your stress is coming from having so much going on in every room of the house. I would suggest when you get your baseboards in to completely finish off your product room, then will be able to have your business running more smoothly. Definitely floor to ceiling drapes on window wall in primary! Also, try pulling the rug down a couple feet under bed, will give more rug at end of bed & still give you rug to step onto when getting out of bed😊

I've been through 8 house remodels so I sympathize. If I were at the point you are now with all the floors done I would pick one room and do the baseboards and finish everything in that room and then move to another room. I get so stressed out when I am working on every room at once and nothing is where it should be. I would finish your selling room first and get all that clutter in there so you can close it off when you aren't working.

Jeffrey, the before and after (up to this point) of your home renovation is dramatic and impressive! I tend to focus on one room at a time, which helps you seek sanctuary when at least one is done. I would get an antique buffet and paint it the wall color for your flamingo display. It would be a little taller than a table but you could move the shorter items to the middle. That way you would have plenty of storage for items you don’t want to display. Most of the time you can find a really nice one for a couple hundred dollars. It would first your vintage look

I love the black inside the recessed area. Have you thought about maybe putting a piece of quarter round painted black around the edge to kind of make it a little more architectural? It might not be the look you’re looking for but it’s just some thing I was thinking, might look really pretty.I love the idea of the longer black table ,it’ll make your flamingos stand out!
